Reporting Marcia Kramer NEW YORK (CBS) ― Hillary Clinton won't be speaking at Monday's anti-Iran rally at the United Nations -- and neither will Republican Sarah Palin or any other politicians for that matter.
The reason? A heated behind the scenes tug-of-war.
Sources tell CBS 2 HD that a decision to disinvite Palin from the high profile rally after Clinton pulled out in a huff came as the result of intense pressure from Democrats.
"This is insulting. This is embarrassing, especially to Gov. Palin, to me and I think it should be to every single New Yorker," Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn, told CBS 2 HD.
Sources say the axes were out for Palin as soon as Sen. Clinton pulled out because she did not want to attend the same event as the Republican vice presidential candidate.
"I have never seen such raw emotion -- on both sides," said someone close to the situation.

My friend is afraid of Obama and his policies of appeasement.
More of my religious brethren are waking up to the threat that Obama poses for America, as well as for Israel and for Judaism, because of the rising tide of Islamofascism, and his inability to recognize it and to do anything effective against it.
Since one of his Middle East advisors was the son of a Soviet agent, Malley (the founder of the Egyptian Communist Party, which was est. by the KGB and CPSU’s International Department) in the 1940’s, and other of his advisors are anti-Israel, you will be seeing more defections from the Jewish liberal ranks as people begin to see who Obama really is.
I’m with the group of Jews who always opposed the communists/socialists/leftist since the 1960’s and we are finally getting our messages thru.
This fiasco re the UN protest against mini-Hitler is showing up the Democratic Jewish group as fools and KAPOS. It is really hurting Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the Democrats where it hurts, in their voting base.

Contact Malcolm Hoenlein and ask him to explain why Gov. Palin was “disinvited,” which in itself is patently rude. Why should Palin be disinvited just because Hillary didn’t want to share the spotlight? If Gov. Palin was willing to participate in a bi-partisan action for the greater cause, why should she be tossed out? It just looks ridiculous.

this works out great....it is now being reported this was 100% the rats doing for partisan politics...not that there was ever any doubt..
McCain/Palin can get a LOT of mileage from this....this will also raise a lot of eyebrows....

Marcia Kramer joined CBS 2 in 1990 as an investigative and political reporter. Prior to CBS 2, she was the City Hall bureau chief at the New York Daily News.
Her reports on the local, national, and international level have garnered her multiple honors, including two George Foster Peabody awards, two Edward R. Murrow awards, five Emmy awards, two New York Press Club Golden Typewriter awards, and a first-place award from the Associated Press for her investigative reports. Her work has been recognized in editorials in the New York Times and the New York Post, as well as in a piece entitled “Marcia Kramer: Journalism at its Best,” which ran in the New York Observer in March 1998.

Already, some “feminists” in Woman’s Studies are busy writign papers extolling the liberating effects of the burka (it liberates them from the sexual stares of men, ya see).
