State Representative Mike Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, made a statement to the Tennessean in which he identified his son, David Kernell, as the hacker who broke in to vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palins email address and posted screenshots of the contents on the internet.
Mike Kernell represents District 93, which covers the University of Memphis, and parts of south-east Memphis. He told the Tennessean on Thursday that it was indeed his son David who, using the handle Rubico, posted the original screenshots of Governor Palins e-mail account after using Yahoos password recovery service and a bit of research to find out personal details about Palin and subsequently gain control of her password. The father refused to make any further comment, especially on the whereabouts of his son.
David Kernell, aged 20, is a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Using the handle Rubico, he made a post on the 4chan.org forums, in which he alleges that he is the one who is responsible for leaking Governor Palins e-mail inbox details online, and goes on to provide a believable account of how he did it.

I share your concern. Absent proxy-log confirmation that the illegal access was initiated from an IP address controlled by Kernell, I see nothing to indicate that the whole business wasn't orchestrated by someone who wanted to frame him.
Sarah can sue his butt at her leisure, also. And when she does that, she can got after his dad if he can be shown to be doing this as part of his household.
What does his dad do for a living? Is he a lawyer? Most dems in office are lawyers.
Kernell confessed? How confusing as O’Reilly said the feds suspect someone but he did not identify who it was until they have conclusive evidence. Seems if the Dad confessed that’s all the evidence one needs.
That is why we have a Second Amendment.
Im thinking ,maybe, of sending some Hamilton County Tennessee private detectives to check out the closets of the Kernell family to look for any and all skeletons. yep yep 10/4

Oh well. She wasn’t supposed to be doing even “clerical” government business on a non-government email account and on a non-government server.
So...using her theory that it was okay to harass Trooper Wooten simply because he did some things wrong, this kid should be let off the hook as well.
The kid was just following The Palin Doctrine which states: We excuse our bad acts by pointing out that the other person did something wrong *first.*
Flame away...
Fair enough.
don’t want to deal with car damage.
don’t want to deal with car damage.
What are the Dem lawmakers teaching their kids?
It’s a sad situation when you have to be concerned about such things.
LOL! Lipstick on a hockey puck... ;-D
I wanted to put it on the hockey stick and use it to underline the McCain/Palin sticker, but I aint that good...
