State Representative Mike Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, made a statement to the Tennessean in which he identified his son, David Kernell, as the hacker who broke in to vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palins email address and posted screenshots of the contents on the internet.
Mike Kernell represents District 93, which covers the University of Memphis, and parts of south-east Memphis. He told the Tennessean on Thursday that it was indeed his son David who, using the handle Rubico, posted the original screenshots of Governor Palins e-mail account after using Yahoos password recovery service and a bit of research to find out personal details about Palin and subsequently gain control of her password. The father refused to make any further comment, especially on the whereabouts of his son.
David Kernell, aged 20, is a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Using the handle Rubico, he made a post on the 4chan.org forums, in which he alleges that he is the one who is responsible for leaking Governor Palins e-mail inbox details online, and goes on to provide a believable account of how he did it.

My kids (11 & 14) have expressed the same thing. They dont want
me to put a McCain/Palin sticker on my car because they are worried
that someone will do something to it.
You're raising some smart kids.
From my "tour of duty" in West Los Angeles (1995-2005), I can
tell you they are giving you sage advice.
When these lefties will vandalize automobiles of US Military
personnel...they'll do worse to property of civilians.

Why isn’t the MSM reporting on this? I still have not seen anything anywhere on the news networks, even Fox. This should be the torpedo that finally sinks Obama.

It's a good thing "eflux media" is covering this, because the drive-by's drove right by. Other than the NY Post and the Wash Times, there's not a word about it anywhere.

any variety store (most any) carry magnets you can cut to size with a sticky side.
Suppose to be for pictures that you want to put on the fridge or whatever but they would work great for the bumper sticker and very affordable...they come in a multi pak.

Any car with a McCain/Palin bumper-sticker should probably not drive through an urban area in the weeks after McCain's probable electoral victory. Or, God help us, an Obama win. The urbanites will happily do their "victory dance" all over your car.

I’m in Pasadena, CA. I have a Maverick/Barracuda sticker on my car, going to put a yard sign up. Maybe I’ll also put a target up, with a few bullet holes in it.

Im concerned, since his father has money and connections, the 20 year old will get NO JAIL TIME! In which case we must organize protest marches every day in front of the court house. He MUST NOT be allowed to get NO jail time. It would not be fair. If he gets just probation, he will be laughing every day about it!

The GOP office in my city has them. If you go to the McCain website and type in your zip code, a location will come up as to where you can pick one up.

There are a lot of freedoms we have here in America. Thanks Heaven.
But embarrassing the Secret Service is a sin you can't hide.
He is toast!

Same here, jwalsh07. We drive all over Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and beyond with pro-McCain-Palin, pro-conservative signs on our cars, which are Toyotas That Won't Die (admittedly old cars).
I'm also waiting for "official" McCain-Palin materials, but I always print out my own signs right from this computer and tape them onto the inside of my back and side windows. The one on the back of my Toyota Camry wagon's window now simply says: John McCain - Sarah Palin 2008.
Hubby also has this one on his car:
WHAT HAS OBAMA
ACTUALLY EVER DONE
besides write two
books about himself?
He says he sees MANY people pointing, nodding and laughing over that sign... LOL. He gets a lot of 'thumbs up' as well.
On 9-11-08 I took all campaign signs down for the day and posted:
No terrorist attacks on
U.S. soil since 9-11-01
Thank you President Bush
People really noticed that one, and I didn't get one negative reaction that day.
The latter sign will go back on my car after the election and before 1-20-09.
My husband and I take these signs down as necessary, ie when bringing the cars in for service, parking in a public lot, etc. So there's a way to compromise in not affixing a permanent sticker onto your car, while still getting a message out when it's convenient for you...

I'm in CA as well. My 85 year old Father said the same thing to me. He said he has never seen such crazy people out there. And my Father as seen them all.
I already have a small McCain sticker on my car, but he was concerned about me putting on a Nobama sticker to go along with it.
Of course, the idea of us being bullied by a bunch of childish thugs is ridiculous. We shouldn't have to worry about someone damaging our property because we differ in our views. The Left has no respect for Life, so it shouldn't surprise us that they have no respect for Property.
And they accuse US of being divisive? They are nothing but modern day Brown Shirts.

Just to be safe, how about putting a few McCain-Palin bumper-stickers on Obama supporters’ cars...

Just to be safe, how about putting a few McCain-Palin bumper-stickers on Obama supporters cars...I keep a few extras in my car. I'm waiting until I see one of those cars with tons of Obama stickers/Anti-American stickers on it, then I'll do it!

use magnetic stick ons for your McCain-Palin bumper stickers
You know, the gremlin in me has been thinking how fun it would be to take some magnetic McCain/Palin bumper stickers and put them over Obama stickers on cars in well known Moonbat neighborhoods, just to see what happens. You know...a dose of their own medicine...so to speak. Soil their own cave, if you will. Watch them eat their own. You know, some of them are so deranged it wouldn't surprise me to see them vandalize their OWN cars!! hehe
