BURLINGTON, Vt. - Lots of political candidates make campaign promises. But not like Charlotte Dennett's. ADVERTISEMENT
Dennett, 61, the Progressive Party's candidate for Vermont Attorney General, said Thursday she will prosecute President Bush for murder if she's elected Nov. 4.
Dennett, an attorney and investigative journalist, says Bush must be held accountable for the deaths of thousands of people in Iraq U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civilians. She believes the Vermont attorney general would have jurisdiction to do so.

Please let Canada annex Vermont....thanks in advance.
I would pay good money to see the Vermont State Police try and arrest President Bush while the Secret Service was standing there.
We could make a fortune on Pay-per-view if we caught it on video...
33 years ago I was offered an engineering job at I.B.M. in Burlington.
I found it was the only city in the U.S. with a socialist city counsel at the time. The temperature the previous winter had highs below zero for 40 days in a row.
I went and visited the city and then told I.B.M. that if the only position they had for me was in Burlington then I wasn’t interested.
I went with Texas Instruments instead.
Why are so many stupids concentrated in the N.East?
BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
(gasp! gasp!) BWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAA!!!!!
Being a brain-dead commie, terrorist lover and fuglier than Helen Thomas’s privates is no way to go through life, honey.
The “stupids” are from MA and VT, and they are fighting to infect the surrounding states. I’m a fifth-generation Maine native, and we’re conservative as hell. Unfortunately, the flood of gutless socialist idiots from the south has infected my homeland.
Sad to say, “Stupid says, stupid does.” Vermont is really sinking low!!!!!!Binge drinking in Vermont colleges alone kill more young men & women in college than our war in Iraq.
Is she going to prosecute the colleges and/or the liquor vendors?
Must have missed the day in law school when they covered Federal supremacy.
Dude, I could have gone my whole life without that mental image flying through my brain.
Especially before I eat my breakfast...
I think Vermont has an Involuntary Commitment law for people demonstrating mental instability...
The moonbats won't migrate to potatoe country so McCain will get at least 1 electoral vote there.
another dangerous rural radical from a non diverse state!
After she indicts Bush maybe she’ll dig up Saddam and indict him for killing millions of Iraqis too- and also dig up Eisenhower, FDR and Churchill and indict them for killing Germans and Japanese
"And I ask you, ladies and gentlemen of the jury - would someone as mentally challenged as my client willingly make a publis ass out of herself by threatening to bring the President of the United States up on murder charges?"
"Your Honor, I rescind the question."
cant be, they elected Bernie Sanders didn't they?
Where’s the barf alert on this one? It’s too early in the morning to hit this unawares! LOL
I'm surrounded, and my running theory has been Seasonal Affective Disorder. To top it off, most angry Vermonters are displaced from angry Manhattan, or are angry natives who are angry at the new New Yorkers. Anger is everywhere in NE, combined with an unmatched nastiness. VT needs to close their borders and clean house for a generation or two, lest they be lost for good.
I wonder where she got the idea from? Didn’t the Obama/Biden campaign make a similar promise?
I apologize, I figured the BARF ALERT was implicit in the title.
Soooo NOW we know who Khan’s other victim was when he fed those little brain eating worms into the ears of the away team of the U.S.S. Defiant.
The poor little rascal must be starving by now, there was probably not much to feast on in Dennett’s cranium.
