RUSH: Scott in Dallas, I'm glad you waited. You're up next on the Rush Limbaugh program. Hello.
CALLER: Good afternoon, sir.
RUSH: Hey.
CALLER: This morning, Campbell Brown tried to literally take apart Lynn Rothschild, a formerly very high placed Hillary Clinton supporter who has just voiced her support for John McCain.
RUSH: Yes.
CALLER: It was interesting to watch that she was -- Campbell Brown was furious, she interrupted Rothschild, and I kept wondering, "What if this were a former McCain supporter who had all of a sudden turned Obama supporter?" Campbell Brown would have just fawned over her.
RUSH: Well, you gotta understand what was going on there. And I, as host, understand it flawlessly. CALLER: That's why I called you, because I know you understand.
RUSH: Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild is a very prominent, wealthy, cultured, refined woman. Campbell Brown thinks of herself the same way. Liberal elitist babes think that they are in the same social set, the same cultural set as people like Lady Lynn de Forrester de Rothschild.
CALLER: Yes, sir.
RUSH: So when Lady Lynn de Forrester de Rothschild splits the scene, it is like she's being a traitor, and Campbell Brown says, "How could you leave us? How could you betray your kind," and so forth. When the truth is that Campbell brown is not in that league and I don't know that you would really want to be, but --
CALLER: No.
RUSH: -- they do. Now, we don't have Campbell Brown. I'm glad to get your on-the-spot report on that. We do have two sound bites from the Situation Room and Wolf Blitzer last night who spoke with Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, ardent Hillary Clinton supporter, who said, "I'm abandoning this party, I don't like Obama, Obama scares me, I really do not like Obama," she said. So Wolf Blitzer says, "What they're saying, the Obama people, you just heard that congresswoman suggest that Lady Baroness de Rothschild, who is that to be talking about elitism, when you are obviously among the elite right now?"
ROTHSCHILD: See, this is so sad when the Democratic Party plays the class card, and they try to divide America and they try to say that somehow my opinion is less worthy than another person's because I have this wonderful life. I have a wonderful life. I want John McCain and Sarah Palin in the White House so other people can have that wonderful life.
Baroness Lady Lynn Forester De Rothschild
RUSH: Is that not great? This woman's a Democrat. But she is fed up with what's happened to the party. How come my opinion is not valid just because my life is wonderful? How come you only accept opinions in the Democrat Party from people you think lives are not wonderful or miserable or what have you? And then Blitzer said, "But you're still a registered Democrat!"
ROTHSCHILD: I'm going to stay a Democrat. You know, Ronald Reagan might have said it right, the Democratic Party left me, I didn't leave the Democratic Party.
BLITZER: Lynn Forester de Rothschild, thanks for coming in.
ROTHSCHILD: Nice to see you.
BLITZER: You're going to get a little grief, you know that?
ROTHSCHILD: I know. I'm getting it all the time, particularly from the likes of you, the liberal elite. You're the elite, not me.
RUSH: Yeah, all right, all right, all right! She called Wolf Blitzer and his guys the liberal elite! See, they think that they are in her league, on the same team, they're in the same social strata, and he's giving her a little wink and a nod, "You're going to get a little grief, you know that. How about that?" Yeah, I know, I'm getting it all the time, particularly from the likes of you, the liberal elite. You're the elite! Not me.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Campbell Brown wife of Dan Senor (notice how much better Iraq got when he left) daughter of a Federal PRISONER, is one mean ass broad.
Makes one appreciate wine and cheese again
I’m sure this lady’s opinion is very important to everyone at my local Wal-mart. (*snert*)
However, I think Rush is correct in observing that our mediatwits imagine themselves to be the social equal (for those to whom that matters) of Lynn de Rothschild. It’s pretty humorous.
I saw her on Fox & Friends this AM. Very likable gal, represents a lot of women who liked Hillary and will now vote McCain bc of Palin. Go Girl ~~
We need more of her, giving cover to the others who want to say something but don't want to be shouted down as female impersonators and racists. And traitors to the party.
I'm bumpin' that.

Now that in the old days is what was referred to as PURE CLASS. Class regardless of her bank account balance, education and finishing school experience.
Plus, in a direct frontal attack at the end, she nailed the weasel Blitzer for the snivelling condescending pricklet that he is.
Next time a member of royalty will decry liberal elitism.
Palin/Lynn de Forrester de Rothschild 2012!!
Hmm, bit long for a car-sticker.
I have a feeling that if Campbell Brown did an interview with Sara Palin, we'd have to watch it on Pay-Per-View.
Campbell Brown anxiously and aggressively interrupts right in the middle of their sentences those who are making excellent points that Brown does not want the American public to hear. This is a journalist? She fails miserably at plahing “gotcha.” Campbell Brown is a disgrace. Her anti-Republican bias is so blatant as to be scandalous, even by the standards of the Left-loving CNN. She’s an embarrassment to CNN.
Baroness Lady Lynn Forester De Rothschild is a smart, class act,
FWIW, I object to titles of nobility for Americans. She happens to be the third wife of a British peer. If she wishes to have a voice in American politics, she should drop the title nonsense.
Rothchild: Yeah, I know, I'm getting it all the time, particularly from the likes of you, the liberal elite.
Smooch.
Sarah Smackdown 2008 World Tour! Only on Pay-per-View!
Besides, the kind of elitism here has nothing to do with money. It has everything to do with a sense of moral superiority and entitlement. Again, it's class consiousness, so prevelant in Marxist idology. It is they who classified people into the bougeois, bougeoisie, and proletariat.
Well, I don’t really understand how anyone could fall for Hillary Clinton’s load of baloney - especially her technique of riding the coattails of a man to get power and not making it on her own - also the Clinton propensity for questionable wheeling and dealing. Rothschild had already made her fortune and place in the world before she met the Baron Evelyn de Rothschild; of course, he catapulted her into a higher social bracket I suppose. Governor Palin is totally a self-made woman who makes it look easy, without the help of the liberal “feminist” network (that’s in part why they’re mad and jealous).
I am just hesitant to get too enthused about these high profile people who embrace the conservative side. It’s just too easy for the pendulum to swing back the other way depending on what happens between now the the election (like Biden bowing out and Hillary stepping in); but, nevertheless, welcome to the picnic, the more the merrier.
She can afford to be this blunt because she’s financially beholden to no one. She doesn’t need the Democratic Party or the wider community of liberal fanatics for anything.
