This investigation is ongoing and we would all do well to remember that fact. From what we know now, the alleged perps dad is directly tied to Obama. I'm sure the evidence that led the Secret Service and/or the FBI to this kid will come out eventually and when it does, it will benefit McCain/Palin. Personally, if this kid did this, I want to see him in cuffs being perp walked to the waiting Police Cruiser. Lets just wait an see what's next.

I agree with you 100 percent. If guilty, I too want to see justice served. The invasion of Sarah Palin’s personal email is by far the worst in a series of vile attacks on her and her family.
And, as you said, we should wait. Save the pillory until we know for sure.

Something I haven’t seen mentioned here, is that the hacker, whether it was Kernell or not, admitted on the 4chan blog that he did it with the expressed intent of trying to find damaging political information about Gov. Palin. This isn’t all that different from Watergate, except for the political orientation of the perp.
He’s going to get along real well in prison. Lots & lots of friends.
Means no charges will ever be filed.
