The son of state Rep. Mike Kernell has been contacted by authorities in connection with a probe into the hacking of the personal e-mail of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Kernell confirmed on Thursday.
Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, said his 20-year-old son David had been contacted by authorities investigating the hacking of Palin’s personal email account.
AdvertisementThe FBI and the Secret Service started a formal investigation on Wednesday into the hacking.
David Kernell is a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Mike Kernell said he spoke to his son on Thursday, as he does on a regular basis.
Kernell otherwise declined to comment, or discuss his son’s whereabouts and whether he was in custody.

I must admit a smile comes across my face when i think of this liberal puke surrounded by Secret service agents and being given the choice of 20 years in Federal pound me in the ___prison or rolling over on the Obama campaign manager that put him up to this.
Now Kernell can blame his kid’s ruined life (Whether there are any actual consequences or not)and future failures on the Bush administration and the McCain campaign.

If you are not black, and want to be in politics, and live in Memphis, you have no choice.
The CTunnel guy specifically keeps 7 day rolling logs because of hackers. The point of ctunnel is to allow people to get past their employer’s IT department rules. The irony is that a lot of that traffic probably goes to hotmail and yahoo mail. But he emphatically said in an interview that it is against his terms of service and would be happy to hand over the records once the feds come knocking.

I know what you are going through. I experienced the same thing about 3 years ago after a hurricane hit Florida. I was without power for 10 days & incommunicado with the outside world. Welcome back!
