Perky Katie’s “interview” with Obama is along the lines of, “Master, when I service you may I wear knee pads?”
To: Syncro
If Katie even brings up Gov. Palins children, Sarah should just sit there and look at her without answering. The Palin’s children are not up for discussion.

Hopefully, Governor Palin has learned that Obamanoids like Gibson and Couric are her enemies. They hate her and are only out to destroy her. That’s what they get paid for. I don’t see any upside to this.

If she knows what’s good for her ratings, Quatie Quaraq should stay clear away from the petulant, look-down-at-you-over-my-glasses, attitude with Sarah. Hit the hard questions, but lob some softballs, too.

McCain’s people better have a parallel camera running at all times the CBS camera is running. Get an independent transcript too.

Someone must have pressured Palin into this.
I can see no upside to this.
Remember how Bush relegated the Wicked witch of the West to the back row at press conferences?
Interviewee prerogative.
Whatever are they thinking?
Perkie has dozens of lackeys digging up dirt, checking "facts" and formulating "gotcha" questions, and Palin will be bushwacked into an endless series of traps.
Classic lose-lose situation.

I’m naive, but still don’t believe Katie Couric can stand up to Sarah Palin.
It’s likening a chihauhau up against a ... yes, she said it... a pit bull.

Couric is slated to spend two days on the road with the Republican vice presidential candidate and presidential hopeful John McCainRelax folks. This is the perfect format for Palin. This is going to be like a one hour commercial for the RNC. Palin interacting with people on the campaign trail is what she excels at. Much better than the stuffy interview in the dim room format.
This is going to be good.

Katie thinks this will bring her back to the main stream by getting viewers. Sarah better watch out for her claws, because they will appear. Katie has all her hollywood elitist friends who have sent in the questions via moveon.org.

This style leads me to believe it will be largely fluff. Of course, the Perky Cherub will chime in with a few digs in the narration, ("As we entered the auditorium, I couldn't help but notice the complete lack of people of color in the room...") but for the most part, it'll be mostly showing her interacting with her staff, reporters and the public for a few days.
She'd chew Couric up in an actual discussion of the issues. The Perky one is destined for The View, where her intellect will be appreciated.

If Katie brings up Palin’s pregnant daughter or her youngest child, the governor should coldly say something to the effect, “You know, Katie, family matters are private. It would be for me to ask you what you went through when your late husband was dying from colon cancer...”

This is a colossal mistake. You do not offer anything to the enemy that has proved they twist, lie, and distort. Editing is their way to discredit. And this will appeal to the many of the brain dead Americans. Good way to lose votes.

Couric was brutal towards the Edwards with regard to their staying in the presidential race after her cancer diagnosis.
I don’t expect that she got any more integrity or decency since then.
