"This phenomenal woman, pro-life, pro-normal marriage ... a woman's woman... a reflection of the Jewish midwives in the book of Exodus, they kept the babies alive." NEW YORK, NY (LifesiteNews) - In response to recent claims that Gov. Sarah Palin's strong religious views may be "a cause of concern" for the Jewish community, noted Rabbi Yehuda Levin has issued high praise for Palin, saying that anti-Semitic claims could not be farther from the truth for "this phenomenal woman," whom he calls "a gift from God" to America.
"Sarah Palin's caring about the security of the residents of Israel is certainly important to Jews," said Levin, "but to American citizens, Jews and non-Jews, her domestic policy of morality, decency, family values, fairness in education where parents have a choice of how and where to educate their children, all of this is great." Rabbi Levin, who usually represents the Union of Orthodox Rabbis and the Rabbinical Alliance of America, says he has issued his video response simply as a Jewish U.S. citizen.

Could this be as good as an endorsement from the Rabbi and the Jewish community for Palin?

Okay, sorry, It was just such a great article.
By the way, glad this place is back up and running :-) Missed you like heck.
He sounds like an intelligent man.
Accusations of anti-semitism levelled against Gov. Palin are just part of the left-wing smear....she has an Israeli flag in her office up in Alaska.
Love this video about life:

When an Orthodox Rabbi and a Catholic Online site, and a raised Southern Baptist turned Methodist (me) agree, then they..the far out liberal left have just gone over the deep end , far , far away from basic decency.
It sure sounds like an endorsement from the Rabbi, and he might well speak for a lot of Orthodox Jews. Alas, most of the Jewish vote consists of Reformed Jews for whom leftist politics seems more important than the obeservance of the Law.
Regardless of endorsements, Palin needs to make clear her views and her church’s views on “Jews for Jesus.” Does she agree with Ann Coulter that Jews need to be “perfected?”
I think this is big. How it translates into votes that swing the EC, I don’t know. Still, it puts Obie and his supporters in a precarious position regarding Palin and her religious views. Trashing Sarah’s faith in God will resonate in a very poor way within the Jewish community. Maybe this is why Hillary cancelled her UN appearance. I don’t recall any religious leader being that effusive about the junior Senator from NY...
forgive me for making light of your remark, but don't we all need to be "perfected"
Why not start by asking the Rabbi? Somehow I doubt he’d view himself as being “imperfect.”
what is your point? What is your beef with Rabbi Levin?
