McCain's New Ad addressing both the Walstreet crisis and his 'gaffe' about the foundation of the American economy.
Yawn. He needs more specifics. And yet again, nothing about Obama being the #2 recipient of Fannie Mae cash. Nothing about the corrupt Congress.
Quite the tag line. I love it.
That Obama stuff is coming. McCain’s been hammering that on the trail.
Let’s hope so. Obama and his cronies are up to their necks in this Fannie Mae debacle, but the press is letting it slide.
I haven't heard anything about Fannie and corrupt Dems on the trail. Nothing is coming.
Why doesn’t he use his statement on Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae and GSEs in general from 2006 and contrast that with the donations that these GSEs gave to Obama and also point out that an executive of Freddie Mac served as the head of the VP committee for Obama...why is this ad not out?
It’s not about earmarks anymore. It’s about bailing out private companies with taxpayer dollars.
If McCain doesn’t get this then he’s useless as President. May as well have Dumbo the Elephant.
Because the Dems can then bring up the Keating 5. Hell they’ll be alble to mine the FR archives for all their ads.
McCain's ad is aimed to those who are scared about their life-saving, and need to blame some one. He already talked about the danger of bailing out several times.
Not a bad spot, IMHO. It pokes Obama while still presenting McCain as the real agent of change and the true reformer, albeit in very general terms. I agree there needs to be more critical “follow up” ads to this one, but not a bad start.
Please Freepers, let’s not get all fatalistic and start slashing our wrists just because McCain isn’t doing everything perfectly. The talk radio guys have covered it well for millions of people already and it takes time to put together TV spots and web ads. They’ll do what they can do.
And McCain will never be “useless as President” if he appoints 3 solid justices to the Supreme Court. We know 0bama won’t. Always look for the silver lining, not the cloud.
Thank you.
