Barbra Streisand sang and spoke out Tuesday night for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama at a star-studded fundraiser in Beverly Hills, Calif.
She sang four songs, according to sources. They were interesting choices: "When the Sun Comes Out," "Make Someone Happy," "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?" and "Shining Hour."
In between songs, Streisand spoke a little bit about Obama and the reason she was there. She said, "I'm not here to make a political speech... Tonight my thoughts are only personal... I can't wait for the morning on November 5th when the people who said 'Yes we can' wake up and say 'Yes we did.'"

4 songs at $29,000 per person, roughly $7,000 per song per person, by Barbra.
Talk about wasteful spending. She puts DC to shame, and the celebrities who hate Gov. Palin ate it up.

This would be a devastating ad if the RNC had enough steel 3333’s to produce it. PICTURE IT: Scenes from Galveston's devastate areas and a clip of OsAMA getting off his limo to attend a $32,000 affair...THAN at the end of the ad close it with “LET THEM EAT CAKE!” Oh my gosh that would be so sweet!

Why this woman is elevated to royalty status is beyond me. I remember her as "that lady on Ed Sullivan with that horrible high pitched voice". My dad had a more colorful name for her, which is won't mention here.
Her voice literally hurts my Husbands ears, always has.

Oh yes indeed!!!! I am so wound up. The anticipation of the election is almost too much to bear. Barring any disasters, McCain will be the next POTUS.

Why can't these celebretards and politicians have these fund raisers for charitable purposes instead of political purposes? We could reduce our tax burden if these hundreds of million dollars that go to campaigns were diverted to social security or other welfare programs. I am always amazed that candidates, including congresscritters, spend millions to be elected to jobs that pay thousands. Could it be the power to play with our money?

It is going to be interesting for sure. I am envisioning a sh*t load of lawsuits being filed by the loonies.
