Let’s meet Barack Obama’s Finance Chairperson, Penny Pritzker.
We all know that Barack Obama hangs out with some interesting people and Penny Pritzker is no exception. I thought you might like to know more about Penny Pritzker and the closing of Superior Bank, which was owned by the Pritzker family.
The Pritzkers are one of the nation’s wealthiest families and heirs to the fortune created by the Hyatt hotels. Yes, Penny is a billionaire. So basically, Penny could squash me like a bug right now for writing this.
Among their other endeavors, the Pritzkers were the owners of Superior Bank in Hinsdale, Illinois when it was seized.
Yes, I did say seized.
Penny Pritzker, Barack Obama’s great Chicago (of course!) friend was a pioneer you might say! She was a failed subprime lender who set the tone all the way back to 2001. She did it before it was even in style.

One reason we don't hear the Clinton campaign raising this as an issue is because Penny's brother has apparently been playing a spokes-person role in Hillary's campaign. Reminds me of Enron buying off both Republicans and Democrats, along with accounting firms, the media, law firms, regulators, ....
Don't get me wrong. After Edwards dropped out I shifted my support to Obama, in as much as I support dismalcrats. But, if Barak Obama was smart, he'd thank her for her services and quietly let Penny Pritzker go.

While it existed, Superior Bank backed many a bad mortgage and are currently paying a rather hefty sum ($408 billion) to avoid penalties and prosecution.
...But of course, ABCNBCCBSMSNBCCNN are nowhere to be found on this...instead they're too busy trying their damnedest to dredge up whatever scandal (real or imagined) on Gov. Palin.
FYI: “Mortgage Backed Securities” (MBS) are loans traded in packages like stocks on Wall Street...but the reason that banks like them is because they allow debt to be shifted OFF of a bank’s balance sheets.
That’s problematic during a financial crisis.
A better solution than MBS debt instruments is “covered” call loans, which must be kept ON a bank’s balance sheets.
But covered loans have no tax incentives and aren’t accepted as collateral at the Fed’s discount window, unlike many Mortgage Backed Securities.
Go figure. Makes you think that a thief/crook/ignoramus was writing our tax code on the House Ways and Means Committee, eh?!

The Pritzker family pays almost NO income taxes on their wealth via a subterfuge of off-shore trusts, as discussed at length in Forbes magazine a couple of years back. Just like the Kennedy family.

Yes, funny how law-abiding, tax-paying citizens are grilled, but the others who COST the system (illigitimate children, illegal anchor babies, illegals, drug dealers/criminals, etc.) NEVER get any blame and “victimhood” via political correctness is never an issue to the MSM.
Has anyone ever correlated the amount of public assistance our green card holders receive? We are about to take another 10-20 thousand Iraqis next year...how many of them will be on the dole? My guess, like most imports from the 3rd World (PC term is “developing world”) is about 100%.
Why do we import poverty? Why no preference for European stock who founded the nation and made it the best in the world?
