After having famously joked at her party's convention, "You know what they say about the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick," what sort of lipstick does Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin prefer?
The Insider spoke to Palin's closest friends and found out, uncovering these five (more) things you may not know about her:
• She's frugal. "Sarah gave me a thank-you card after I helped her with her lieutenant-governor race," said her friend, Kristen Cole, who has known the Alaska governor since childhood. "She liked the card so much that she didn't sign it so I could give it to someone else."
• She's a techie. Palin prefers texting to phone calls.

I love “Twig” - used to use it exclusively until I bought MAC “Fast Play” for something with a bit more color.
Sarah has good taste in lipstick!

Oh I like that. That little tidbit needs to be made into an ad. A very simple ad:
"As Governor of Alaska VP candidate Sarah Palin put the state's checkbook online so folks could see how their money was being spent. That's the kind of reform and transparency we need in Washington. Fight for real change. Vote McCain/Palin on November 4th."

Raquel Welch is the newest spokeslady for MAC. Not sure if that means anything. But here is some trivia I can add if you didn’t know already. The governor’s middle name is Louise. I like that. Sarah Louise has a nice sound.

Don’t feel bad, I had never heard of it before either.
I use Merle Norman, their Luxiva line is really nice too, I use both. My boys call Merle Norman store “Lipstick Stores”.
