She was in deep with the Marxist terrorists.

She rented their safe house for them. She posed as an "American journalist" to gain access to the Peruvian congress and took along the wife of the revolutionary group's leader as a photographer. She then provided the revolutionary group with detailed floor plans and office locations in preparation for a raid in which they would kidnap and kill their political enemies.

When they raided her house, they found an arsenal, fake police and military uniforms and the detailed plans she had provided.

Twenty years was too short a term for this leftist douchebag.
