A new pro-life group comes out swinging today, and it chose a powerful spokeswoman for their cause. Gianna Jesson survived a saline abortion 31 years ago, and has fought to stop the barbaric practice of leaving such living infants to die by abortionists unwilling to face the failure of their procedure. Jesson testified in 2001-2 to get Congress to pass the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, and now she joins Born Alive Truth to point the finger at the only current member of the Senate to have voted against such a bill:

Is this the gal who was on Hannity last night? She was sweet and took No CRAP from Colmes. I loved her and though she still has a limp caused by the failed abortion attempt (she weighed 2lbs at birth) she has ran a marathon.
There is nothing as tenacious as a woman who believes in herself.
She was on H&C last night. She made a powerful case against Obama and his votes against protecting "born-alive" infants.
I should have said: “believes in herself and God.”
She was on Hannity recently and did quite well. Colmes tried to come at her but what could he say?
Not for anything in this world would I want to face God having participated in the abortion industry or having supported it in any way.
Her life story is truly Miraculous and Divine, and she is the perfect example of survival despite the murderous intentions of evil thugs like Obama and his democrats.
May God Bless Ms. Jesson as she continues to make her story known, and may God be with her as she faces the demons who will lash out at her from Obama's camp.

Watch one of her videos (I saw one with her speaking at some rally). Her beauty is not skin deep.
Instead of all the sweet photos of happy children, viewers need to be presented with the hard, cold reality of what really happens to the babies Obama voted against protecting.
A 're-enactment' style ad, showing a tiny preemie baby left gasping for air, naked and alone on a cold stainless steel counter -or stuck in a soiled utility closet to die- would bring home the truth.
A few months ago I suggested just such scenario for an ad, and was rebuked immediately by some poster who thought I was making this up! The poster simply didn't believe this horrifying scenario is actually played out, every day in many hospitals and abortuaries across the country.
And this is true of many Americans - they don't know. On C-Span recently, Mona Charen faced blogger Jane Hamsher -- Hamsher insisted to Charen (and the world) that babies who survive abortion simply don't exist.
That reminded me of the NYT's refusal to print photos taken at Nazi death camps back during WWII. It's time to thrust the reality of infanticide into the deniers' faces.
I'm concerned enough just for living in the country where it is happening and failing to do enough. I'd hate to be like the Germans who lived near the Concentration Camps and did nothing. They, at least, feared a tyrannical government. What do we have to fear?

I heard a few minutes of her on Hannity yesterday. I have to say that she is a great American. I found her to be extremely motivational and truly remarkable. I can only wish that some day I will be a fraction of the person that she is.
