There was a caller on our local talk radio station that said that a former Bush 41 official, a woman, wrote a book that has warned against the exact policy that Rush is talking about, the punishment of banks that refused to loan money to unqualified buyers. The banks were refused permission to expand if they did not make these loans.

Yes, Bush could have removed the EO, but he chose to expand on it, instead. Bush was obsessed with being liked. It was the same view that led Bush to be wrong on immigration.

We all know that Clinton wrote an executive order to extend housing to former red lined areas.

Without the repeal of the Glass Steagal Act (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) NONE of this would have happened. Sec. of Treas Rudin and Sanford Weill of CitiBank (Group?) were the big lobbyists that pushed for this. It allowed Citi and Travellers to merge. Rudin then quit the Treas. within days of the signing and went to work for Citi. Weill has one of the pens used to sign this bill on his desk.

As I say to RWT and his brothers and sisters, MLK said that people should be judge by their character not what their sexual orientation is.

Myself, I did have a friend who was murdered, because he looked like a gay (he loved wearing pastel colors), so some BIGOTS killed him for being gay. It happened 17 years ago, and I still miss him.

There are hate groups that targets gays. Why do people have to kill - these hate groups are like the KKK in the olden days - lynching blacks, if I lived back then, I'd speak out against the KKK. Any Hate group I am against!
