We all know that Clinton wrote an executive order to extend housing to former red lined areas.

Without the repeal of the Glass Steagal Act (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) NONE of this would have happened. Sec. of Treas Rudin and Sanford Weill of CitiBank (Group?) were the big lobbyists that pushed for this. It allowed Citi and Travellers to merge. Rudin then quit the Treas. within days of the signing and went to work for Citi. Weill has one of the pens used to sign this bill on his desk.
