Obama Surrogates Claim Race is Factor in Voting (Not Voting for Obama is Racist, Unpatriotic)
WYTV ^ | Monday, September 15, 2008

Posted on 09/15/2008 8:08:36 PM PDT by kristinn

Monday afternoon, state Representatives Bob Hagan of Youngstown and Tom Letson of Warren met with reporters.

They argue many voters who call themselves "Democrats" or "Independents", but won't vote for Obama, have only one excuse, with Letson saying, "I would say that a lot of it is they're not going to vote for 'the black guy'".

Hagan called the issue "unpatriotic," adding those not willing to vote for Obama need "to face that fact. That that's not acceptable in America."

Both men say they will work to convince those "swing voters" to change their minds between now and election day.

ENOUGH. The race card has officially jumped the shark.

I really do think that most white people WANT to vote for a qualified, principled black president. HOWEVER, they are unwilling to vote for a callow, naive, unprincipled, quasi-socialist radical who has accomplished NOTHING of substance in his public life and whose ONLY redeeming characteristic is that he is “black.”

To be tagged a “racist” for refusing to vote for this lightweight is supremely offensive. MY response is to get pissed off and to do something about it: (a) contribute (a little) money to McCain; (b) volunteer to work for the Republicans on election day; and (c) be more outspoken about criticizing the Obamassiah.

I hope and believe that others feel the same way.

A visit to room 101 will have to be arranged.

The Dems are clinging to power.

I understand that, but I see all this focus on calling folks racist if they don’t vote for Obama as an attempt to prevent the Bradley effect from happening.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but is there any mention by those White Guilt™ faddists of the percentage of blacks who'll vote for Obama the lightweight simply because he's black?

Not an intelligent move.

“Vote for X or else you’re evil/racist/stupid” is not going to win a lot of people over.

You know, we could claim the same with "sexism".

----------

They argue many voters who call themselves "Republicans" or "Independents", but won't vote for Sarah, have only one excuse, with Letson saying, "I would say that a lot of it is they're not going to vote for 'the woman".

Hagan called the issue "unpatriotic," adding those not willing to vote for Sarah need "to face that fact. That that's not acceptable in America."

---------------

Thank God, race and sex isn't a factor for us here. We simply will not vote in a Marxist and hope to elect a true Conservative on our ticket.

Good God...what a bunch of whine bags! it’s Ok for Obama to ONLY be the Dem Candidate because HE is BLACK man...but oh how he complains if he thinks we might be smart enough to not vote for him...regardless of his color...He uses the race card backwards and forwards.....whenever it is convenient. Too late Obama....you’re losing and it’s not because of your color...we don’t like you and you America hating wife!

Sorry, voting for a black man simply because he is black and otherwise completely unqualified is racist.
:::::::::::::
He does not even qualify as black, let alone a real citizen, because he is HALF black. No matter which way you turn with this thug, he is a FRAUD.

Well, since all or most of us have voted for other black men and women for other positions over the years, I would tell these two losers to go bark up another tree.

We wont vote for obama for who he is, NOT what color his skin is.

I question Øbama’s patriotism. Not because I’m some yahoo who thinks he’s a “secret muslim”. I question it because I can READ.

Is race a factor in the voting?

Of course it is. Black people will vote for black’s, 99% of the time. This applies to Barack Hussein Obama even though he is half white and perhaps almost half Arab.

Besides, the only reasons why BHO and HRC were leading candidates in the Democratic party is that one was black and the other a female. Duh.

My guess is these two had no problem helping to convince people from voting against “the black guy” Ken Blackwell when he ran for Ohio Governor against “the white guy” Strickland. Blackwell just wasn't the right kind of black guy and no one in the media was questioning the “patriotism” of Strickland voters.

“”I would say that a lot of it is they're not going to vote for ‘the black guy’”.”

Such utter bulls%*t.

They said they same thing about a woman, until a conservative, competent one was put on the ticket.

Most voters would have no problem with a black candidate; they just have a problem with a Marxist black candidate.
