Get ready, it’s going to get worse. The left will do just about anything to stop McCuda winning because they’d be looking at another eight years before they’d have a chance at the White House.
This is 2004 all over again. A few “swift boat” colleagues stood for Kerry and the vast majority who knew him stood against him. I think the vast majority of those who were POWs with McCain stand with him. There was bound to be one some where who was not for him.
POW plus career in the Senate.
What is OBAMA’s CV?
What do you expect?
Phillip Butler is a liberal Democrat.

There’s always that 10% in every crowd.
The difference is that Obama can’t say where he was for long stretches of his life.
What a terrible ad. I feel sorry for the vet who had to make it.
And Butler was tortured in what ways?
I disagree...it’s such a weak ad and reflects only poorly on the guy in the ad, that it doesn’t deserve a response. However, if I were him, I would unleash the hounds on Obama by getting the 527s to start working the Obama negatives in a more pointed way.

Found this: “After his repatriation in 1973 he earned a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California at San Diego and became a Navy Organizational Effectiveness consultant. He completed his Navy career in 1981 as a professor of management at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. He is now a peace and justice activist with Veterans for Peace.”

Nothing against this guy, he is a POW and I have great respect, but its good to know where he’s coming from.
The difference is that Kerry did inflate his war experience. John McCain does not have a need to inflate his. Also Kerry came back and used a broad brush to paint his fellow soldiers as baby killers and rapists. He met with the North Vietnamese and did everything he could to undermine the war effort. This kind of thing will cause as severe backlash. People of all stripes won’t take kindly for attacks on a POW who served his country honorably. The left must really want to lose horribly.
This kind of thing is low.
the man on the ad said absolutely nothing worth saying. He was dull, had a smirk on his face and as far as I am concerned...the ad is a DUD.
CommieBama’s response to “Swiftboating” - “Sh*tboating”?
sure he can. But he won't. But don't worry; we're going to let everybody know what happened during the missing years of The One.
To the Democrats:
Swiftboating . . .
YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG.
The reason that Kerry was able to be attacked was because he paraded his veteran buds across the stage. He used them to advance this image of him as war hero. At no time did McCain parade his fellow prisoners across the stage.
Just watched it and it’s no big deal in my opinion...
Remember ABC's wet dream made-for-TV movie The Day After?
And as far the clown in this ad?
Jimmy Carter 1980 Campaign Commercial
Cheers!
