G’nite, you!
*HUG*
Sweet dreams and God Bless!
Thank you, MY! We are very relieved. They still can’t go
home till this next Friday, but at least THEY have something
to go home to.
I need to go...I’m whipped tonight.
See ya manana! :D
Hurrah!! Your brother’s house is fine.....what a surprise/gift after seeing all the devastation in the pictures.
Got locked out while reading the hurricane thread earlier tonight. Glad to know that The Eakers and Humblegunner were ok. I was following the hurricane but wasn’t online most of the weekend and tried to post earlier tonight on the hurricane thread but no go. Site went down for me.
Glad to hear you’re fine, too. :) If you or the Eakers need anything, feel free to ask. I ain’t driving to Texas tho ;)
Seriously, thrilled to hear you all are doing ok.
I know what you mean, Ma..
I guess when you lose alot of stuff to a hurricane, your emotions take over.
We have weathered many storms up here, hurricanes included (in the past)
Nor’Easters—blinding blizzards are mostly what we deal with.
I watch the papers for sales on canned goods and such..
We could probably eat out of our pantrry for a month!
We have three types of heat, wood, oil, and propane..
Always try to saty a step ahead, if we can!
*HUG*
I’m so glad you did!
Get yer buns to bed, woman!
LOL

Evening Kathy, Hugs.
We got whalloped today...Part of the wind was IKE and part of it was the jet stream with a cold front dropping from Canada and colliding right over us.
270K homes without electricity, 130 roads blocked..
1000 pleasure boats swamped on the river.
Only 1 fatality in an adjacent county.
Top winds were 81 mph.. We had sustained winds of 50-55 mph for hours.
Has Sarge reported in?
Do we know about everyone else in the area being safe?
Are you logged on, Radix? Hello? Hello? Hark!! I think it is working intermittantly.
It was a great relief. My SIL is a school teacher and they won’t be going back to class till Tuesday...not sure WHICH Tuesday, though! LOL!
God be with all the folks who were in the devastation.
My preacher/friend can’t even buy a generator to send to his
sister in Lufkin. They are all allocated for Houston.
*smooch*
Good evening Sis.
Glad you reported in!
Sarge may have been called to duty.
I am worried silly for him!
Sir Knight, please check in if you can!
*HUGS* and prayers lifted for all suffering from this storm..
I’m on my way!
See ya tomorrow!
(((hugs)))
It doesn’t but it pours.
My Mom was admitted to SVCH tonight. She blacked out and fell cracking her left clavical. This is an 83 year old woman who weighs maybe 90#s.
Criminy, Sandy!
Prayers for your family...hang in there, bro.
*HUG*
Prayers lifted for her, Sandy!
