New Anti-McCain YouTube video "lost in Space"
YouTube ^ | 5/25/2008

Posted on 09/13/2008 11:35:27 PM PDT by luckymom

I suppose this is a vanity. This video has been picking up steam with the Left. Please view it and post comments and rebuttals, because it's going to be used to challenge us all as part of the main-stream media's PDS. I apologize if it has been posted previously, but a search didn't bring it up. Thanks in advance, Fellow Freepers.

Oh I get it.. because to be old you can’t be lucid and rational like them? NO. They have beaten this OLD gimmick so much. I’m surprised the don’t just run an ad saying john McCain look at him he he’s old! They have nothing blind leading the blind. John McCain can lead and very well how is your little campign going barry? With NO attacks or treatment on interviews like you. YOur interviews are so easy and in the tank in ove with you a 6th grader could give them. You couldn’t take 5 minutes of the treatment Sarah Palin has. She is tougher than you will ever be. You would be crying like a baby if someone demanded you answer a question completely. You stutter half of them and jut stop....Your an NEWB>

Unfortunately their “candidate” doesn’t seem to be picking up much steam these days. I don’t think this is a game breaker, but nice try. : )

ah... but the best part is that Sarah is on the ticket!

I was not going to vote for McCain (before you get your panties in a wad, I live in Idaho and it doesn’t matter how I vote - he will win )

However, with Sarah on the ticket I will vote for them...

Every time they say this they are dissing anyone voter even close to McCain's age group.

I suppose it could pick up speed if we manage to bring the hits up to where it could move into a “most viewed” category.

By the way, while on YouTube search “why I am a republican” in the YT search window. There are several videos out there created by youths, minorities and women. They are being attacked from the left for their conservative beliefs and it would be nice to give them a few hits and ratings while we’re making these liberal videos move up in numbers by clicking them.

I was just talking to one of my friends the other day about this. They pull the same thing every 4 years, and they pulled the “he’s too old” crap on Reagan, too. Is this all they got on us? Go for the Katherine Harris grab bag full of attacks on one’s looks? Good grief. May it continue to bite them on their sorry arses.

Real news there, a politician making contradictory statements. I just wish they had provided more dates with the clips, so we would have that in context.

Of course, Obambi went to the John Kerry School of flip-flopping, so his contradictory statements do not matter...

Side note: Mc Cain would be well served by doing his homework before making a statement (fewer retractions that way), or simply saying words to the effect of 'I don't know the specifics, I'll have to get back to you on that.'

Well it’s not like he said there were 57 states in the union, or claimed that the Sermon on the Mount is incompatible with national defense.

If McCain is lost in space, why are the nation
s major media outlets blowing pressure bolts out their collective posteriors? They are in full meltdown. John must be doing something right.

The Democrats are coming unglued. The media is coming unglued. It's panic attack after panic attack for the lefties. They couldn't get Obama elected for dog cather unless they destroy his opposition.

Yeah sure. That DNC Edsel circling Uranus is just a figment of our imagination.

The Ad, as an ad, may be marginally effective. Senator McCain has, from time to time, suffered from Bill Clinton disease: the desire to be all things to all people. In today's Media Culture, Democrats can get away with constant self-contradiction, Republicans can't. The best "cures" for this type of Ad are response ads with similar reminders of the different stances Obama has taken on virtually every issue, from taxes to gun control to the issue Hussein's supposed to "own", Iraq.

As to the "age-ism" charge, in a sane political climate, our senior citizens would be abandoning the Democrats in droves over the slurs about John McCain's age. Sadly, this is not a sane political climate, and too many of the elderly buy into the notion that they are permanently incapable of doing anything (including vote) without the assistance of clever young Democrats (including, presumably, Teddy the Kid Kennedy, and young Joe Biden).

Note the references and talk shows, CNN, MSNBC, and NBC. Personally, if I was McCain I would counter with comparison questions asked by these reporters to Obama. I'm especially apalled (though not surprised) by Charlie Gibson's questions to Obama and Palin:

I showed this to my wife and she was amazed. She asked me to print it off so she could mail it to some people.

How about a video with Gibson's first question to Obama and then flash to the first question to Palin, back and forth? Then flash to the laughter the media showed in this clip.

I suspect, if people were to go back into the files and looked at the questions the MSM asked McCain and questions they asked Obama, comparing the two, it would be an eye opener.

“I was not going to vote for McCain”
I was going to vote AGAINST Obama rather than for McCain, but when Gov. Palin showed up, I, too, became a proud supporter of the McCain-Palin ticket. I live in Washington State, and this is actually an election when a Republican vote WILL make a difference- unless of course, the Democrats in King County continue their voter fraud mischief!
