"In response to a Boston Globe article today, the Palin camp has been forced to clarify exactly where Sarah Palin traveled in her July 2007 trip to the Middle East to visit Alaskan National Guard troops"
"Last summer, Governor Palin traveled to Kuwait where she visited Alaskan National Guard troops deployed to the war in Iraq at Camp Arifjen.
While she was there she traveled to the K Crossing on the Kuwait-Iraq border, and a quarter mile into Iraq. According to the General who traveled with her, while she was there she presided over a re-enlistment ceremony of an Alaskan National Guard soldier.
En route back to the United States, she traveled to the Ramstein Air Base in Germany. While in Germany, Governor Palin visited wounded soldiers at the Landstuhl military hospital."
"Tommy Vietor, Obama campaign spokesman responded strongly to the initial report that Palin did not cross the border into Iraq:
"They said she visited Iraq, but today we learned that she only stopped at the border. Americans are starting to wonder, is there anything the McCain campaign isnt lying about?"

For some weird reason I still think people would be more interested to learn what's in Barry's college records. But that's just me.
Hahaha...!
I love the stench of Democrat panic... any time of day.
Smells like.... victory.
Time for us to go back on offense and pull out one of our big guns to blast the RATs back onto the defensive.
Stupidity seem to run in their party.
Excuse me. Her trip into Iraq.
As usual.
Ya know, Vietor, with all the incompetent, unqualified used car salesmen with law degrees on Capitol Hill, I’m sure Mrs. Palin is pa-lenty qualified.
she did go into Iraq.
You realize of course that Palin DID go into Iraq?
It sounds to me that Sarah Palin went farther into Iraq than did John Kerry go into Cambodia.
that’s cause SHE DIDNT LIE......duh
Yes, I read what the general said, but I was just saying so what if she was only on the border. What difference does it make? The point is she was in the region and her intentions were noble...she was visiting our troops.
This is really ticky-tack but it might bend the left's minds a little more if it's worded like this:
She went to visit her (AK NatGuard) troops in Kuwait who served in Iraq,...
It kind of gives the instant impression she has more balls than the two dems put together! lol
At first I was shocked at the over-the-top attacks. Then I was upset and angry. Then amazed at the non-stop lunacy even in the face of virtually instant debunking. But tonight, for the first time, after reading this attack these efforts are starting to become funny in a crude, slapstick sort of way. Kind of like watching the 3 Stooges.
It is rapidly becoming impossible to take any of these people seriously. I guess the next step will be to simply yawn, swat the gnat, and go back to more important matters.
Who cares. This is much ado about nothing.
