I get Parents Magazine and when I opened up the October 2008 issue, I found:
WHAT DO WOMEN WANT
In a survey commissioned by the Meredith Corporation and NBC, women were asked which issues they most want to see on a presidential candidate's 2008 agenda. Their top priorities:
There was no footnote refering to the study and I couldn't find the study online anywhere.
I also would like some good numbers that are sourced to write in my letter that contradict the results of the survey (IF there was even a survey done).
Obviously, most conservative moms don't want our troops to come home, but how to back that up? Freeper help would be appreciated.
My wife’s would be:
1. quit giving free health care to illegal immigrants
2. stop wasteful spending
3. flat, fair tax
4. vouchers
5. kill the bad guys
I'd venture to say most Conservative moms do want the troops to come home from Iraq...but only AFTER their job is done and not in retreat, like the DUmmies want.
That's because some lib weenie college intern journalist-wanna-be sitting in a cubicle at the magazine's office MADE IT UP.
I'm in favor of that -- a flat tax or national sales tax would be much more equitable for everyone than the "progressive" bracket crap we have now.
1. Kill the bad guys
2. stop wasteful spending
3. flat, fair tax
4. tax credits for non-use of government schools
5. term limits
A smart publication who leans to the left is better off keeping its mouth shut right now.
One I know would say:
1. Lower taxes so I can stay home with my children.
2. Really punish crime so my kids are safer out there.
3. Get the terrorists and win the war.
4. Quit telling my kids ‘gay is ok’.
5. Stop illegal immigration.
oxymoronical
If nothing else, the election between Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin exposes the duplicity of the left.
For years the left has supported women, minorities, animals, the environmental movement and homosexuals. Now voters and average citizens will discover the only thing the left really cares about is power; and it’s socialist pro government anti freedom power at that. All these so-called groups of people and causes the left claimed to support are nothing but hoax induced lies.
I believe the past support will dry up a bit, just as it has with Us magazine.
I quit reading all those stupid magazines a long time ago because they are politically biased.
Google the name of the writer of the article.
See what it turns up.
My wife’s top 5
1. You get nice things if you work for them.
2. You keep your nice things if you respect your own property and that of others.
3. We should be free to admit there’s no such thing as a bad neighborhood or a bad school. The people in them make them what they are.
4. Speaking the truth should never be a crime even if it hurts someone’s feelings.
5. When you die you should be allowed to pass 100% of your estate to your heirs. You already paid taxes to create it.

Well, the article was written by a Sheri MacDonald Strong and it was about how women should vote. I don’t know if she had anything to do with the side box that I posted about above.
But, I looked up her blog, http://sharimacdonaldstrong.blogspot.com/
Wow. If she had anything to do with putting together the side box I wrote about....no wonder!
Sorry I can’t link to the article, but it isn’t online.
Send this to Michelle Malkin.
She is all over the magazine industry with this type of stuff.
Those are the consequences in business of our Party’s pandering to feminists and voting in favor of increasing fatherlessness. The USA has become a feminized house of ill repute.
