KDKA’s John Shumway reported: “A local couple unexpectedly got to meet Vice Presidential Candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and GOP Presidential Nominee Sen. John McCain during their visit to Washington County last weekend. They share something in common with Palin. They also have a child with Down syndrome. In a sea of smiling faces at Consol Energy Park, Kurt and Margie Kondrich, along with their daughter, Chloe, caught the attention of the candidates.”
Margie was holding a sign that said, “We (Heart) Kids With Down Syndrome.”
McCain and Palin left the bus and met with the family. “They just came up as warm as could be and said ‘Hi’ and they thanked us for coming,” Kurt Kondrich said. Palin asked if she could hold Chloe.
Later, Palin brought down Trig, their child with Down syndrome, from the bus. “I got to see him,” said Margie. “It was very emotional for me but I was very proud of him and my daughter and I kissed him on his chubby little face. I actually told her that her son was beautiful and that they would all be fine and it’s a lot of work but they are very blessed with having a child with Down Syndrome.”
Other than Shumway’s story on KDKA, I didn’t see this reported anywhere else. It seemed like a story with a human touch.

The answer is simple: she's a true woman, mother and wife, and they're searching for their identities.
Because the media feminists are not real women. A real woman doesn’t act like they do, doesn’t share their lack of values or bypocrisy. They’re fakes, real women are, well . . .real.

Feminists view themselves as vitims of men’s evil. They hold themselves back due to leberal ideaology making someone think they can’t achieve goals in life without gov’t. Then guess who comes and “helps” these vicims they created and blames everyone else.
Palin didn’t think so knew she was able and achieved her goals despite gov’t. She ran her own life and made good informed decisions to have kids and WORK. To serve the country as VP despite how the media would treat her. But didn’t cry about it.
If the hags are over 40 then they have zero chance of measuring up to Sarah.
They also know that Sarah has a terrific, supportive husband. Unfortunately, most of those hags don't even have suitors.
And, finally because they didn't have children they will soon be old, decrepit hags in nursing homes with NO visitors.
Sarah will enjoy the love and support of her family because she is giving love and support to Bristol. Bristol will never forget that.
They claimed to be objective down through the years, and we always knew otherwise. But the attacks on a mother, on a wife, a good public servant, simply because she isn’t one of them, are as despicable as anything these God forsaken individuals have ever done.
The Bible says “Woe unto thee who call evil good and good evil.” That characterizes these human reptiles in the media.
We end up paying attention to the media we've learned to trust, like IBD and sometimes Fox.
What is disturbing to me is that in regards to the illegal mass immigration of those south of our border, very few pay attention to this looming catastrophe.
Rush says nothing. Beck occasionally journeys there.
Before the election it was thought by many to be a shoe-in for whoever made that the cornerstone of his campaign.

Aging feminists are not a friendly lot. The ones with money and connections are angry enough, but those that have been misled and come home to nothing but a cat every night are dour and nasty. Ever worked with one of those?
We can have plenty of friends and that is great. Some of them will be like family. But we conservatives know that the natural family; husband, wife, children, grand children, is the essence of the good life. Sarah exemplifies that, and they hate it.

I agree with you about illegal immigration. I live in Tucson.
But most of us who opposed McCain, (and I did so quite fiercely) have come to the conclusion that the leftists are not only unqualified to lead, but that these people are dangerous. Electing them won’t seal your border.
We have to elect the best candidate available and trust the results to the Almighty.
And, yes, I've met the angry feminazi as well as the girly, whiny male liberals. I live in Boston.

The feminazis in their 30s are amusing too. One I know actually thought she should be a Dean of Engineering with a BA in International Studies. Fruit loop couldn't quite grasp that her degree was the equivalent of basketweavers 101.

It was posted last week but don't worry about it, it is a beautiful article and captures Sarah's character quite well and I am sure many people haven't seen it yet.
FWIW, you are allowed to repost an article on FR if 24 hours has passed since the last posting. Actually, since Sarah was picked for VP, we have had multiple postings every day of articles about Sarah, most of us don't mind.
Incidents like this one are the reasons Dems heads are exploding over Sarah, isn't great?
