Charlie Gibson's Gaffee (I know a bit about the term 'Bush Doctrine' - I was the 1st to use it)
Town Hall ^ | Saturday, September 13, 2008 | Charles Krauthammer

WASHINGTON -- Informed her? Rubbish.

The Times got it wrong. And Charlie Gibson got it wrong.

There is no single meaning of the Bush doctrine. In fact, there have been four distinct meanings, each one succeeding another over the eight years of this administration -- and the one Charlie Gibson cited is not the one in common usage today.

"Is there one site that publishes all of Krauthammer’s work? "

I agree that he is one of the very best writers as well as one of the most influential in national policy.

She responded, quite sensibly to a question that is ambiguous, "In what respect, Charlie?"

This shows how smart Palin is and she continues to earn my respect above any other politician I can think of.

Charlie Gibson is a disgrace. He acted like a prosecutor interrogating a criminal.

IMHO, every candidate should be subjected to that, minus the editing. A candidate who can't stand up to hostile questioning by a television interviewer won't stand up to the pressures of office.

I’ve always thought “the Bush Doctrine” was liberal code for “bad foreign policy” (in their demented minds).

"I think I did read somewhere that Sarah Palin DID minor in Political Science in college."

Yes, but her choice of a flakey major makes me wonder if she's really intellectually up to the VP job. She majored in journalism, for crying out loud.

Hey, this snarky elitism can be fun.

Ha. Ha. Then, Sarah’s major in journalism made her imminently prepared for “Sir Charlie’s” machinations and so-called “technique”. The drive-bys just keep digging that hole deeper and will soon be to China, their perfect Communist Utopia.

Not sure about it, but I think that there’s a Krauthammer list somewhere on FR.
