I have phony outrage over this.
Thanks to other internet outlets, I was able to read the entire Palin - Gibson interview.
It’s interesting that the answers that made Governor Palin look good were left out.
How on earth can I trust ABC News to tell the whole story, much less the truth?
I don’t think Gibson’s / ABC’s best efforts will manage to secure a victory for Barak Obama.

My message to ABC:
You have lost a viewer. The blatant editing and manipulation of the Sarah Palin interview was the last straw. I used to be a faithful viewer but I am flabbergasted by this. Since when has the network news outlets become a propaganda outlet for the DNC? It appears that your primary objective was to damage Sarah Palin. You failed miserably. I am a Democrat voter but now I am beginning to question everything as it seems the media is dishonest.
Not surprising. Obama’s interview with CBS was edited to make him appear more knowledgeable, eloquent and lucid than he really is, while Palin’s interview with ABC was edited to make her appear to be exactly the opposite...and also to shore up the left’s attempt to paint her as a radical “Christianist”, which must be meant as a progressive counter to the radical Islamists that same people want wiped off the earth. Unfair and unbalanced coverage as usual.
This explains why the “Palin Favors War Against Iran” and “Palin Favors War with Russia” headlines that popped up right after the interview was aired disappeared so suddenly.

Disarm the hosts and the interviews will look better for the guest who is rooted in unambiguous beliefs.
Conservatives ought to accept interviews on the condition that they are live and earpiece free. Then the media can't use that canard that that their target declined to talk about something with which they wanted to embarrass them.
It wasn’t just after-the-fact editing. Notice that Charlie Gibson’s technique of asking the same question two or three times, often using the same words, seems aimed at allowing the editors to choose among responses. Very deceitful. See “Have you ever met a foreign head of state?” & “So what should we do about a nuclear Iran?” in transcript.
More “fake but acurate” “reporting” from “nonpartisan” mainstream “journalists”.
Gibsons interview of Palin was a disgrace. Here he had an opportunity to show even he can be fair and balenced and as Michelle Malkin said on her blog, “ABC blew it”. He would never have talked down to Obama the way he did to Palin. I guess you really cant teach an old dog new tricks.

"Charlie" is unmasked as a fraud. The side-by-side comparison of his fawning questions to Obama against his interrogation of Sarah Palin reconfirms that the meainstream media, including ABC and Charles Gibson, are merely propaganda tools for the Democratic party.
