Amnesty Juan McCain strikes again.
McCain, like any politican, must earn my trust before I will vote for him and he hasn't.
Picking Gov. Plain is a start, but he needs to do more to earn my trust. He needs to repudiate his liberal ideas.
The thought struck me today that McCain will break out hearts if is he elected, just as Bush has done in many ways. That said, either is infinitely better IMO than John Kerry or Barry Osama.

He probably will. McCain is besotted with the notion that he just has to pander to Hispanics. He has zero common sense and zero judgment where this issue is concerned.
Any poll that asked the questions in a sensible way shows that around 70% of Americans oppose his amnesty nonsense and want the laws enforced. He just might ass around enough with this to lose a key state like Ohio or Indiana, or some other by causing some normal Republican voters to sit it out.
Where is his “I got the message” video? That’s what he told Republicans several times during the primaries. The little weasel used that to divert attention of voters, and many will not have forgotten.

Yeah, like you’re really feeling the effects of amnesty in your border state of Maryland. I’ll bet the hordes of Pennsylvanians swamping your towns is a real burden.
If McCain picking Palin and whipping Obama’s butt in the debates doesn’t convince to come over the the winning team then you are a lost cause.
Besides who are you kidding? You haven’t EARNED the right to throw a man like John McCain under the bus.

How many times does McCain have to say there will be no amnesty and the borders must be secured?

What you said describes me, except that it was my Mom who came through Ellis Island. I am one of the small percentage of native-born Americans, I am guessing, whose Mom, wife and child were all born overseas.
I am all for LEGAL immigration. I am wholly opposed to the ILLEGAL variety, because, as you said, it dishonors those who played by the rules.
Well they issue license plates, that’s for sure. Must be some loophole. I can’t tell you how many illegal-types I’ve seen with PA plates.

I think most of us know that it will be a tumultuous four years with McCain on issues like this, judges, global warming, etc., but the alternative is unbearable. It’s been the same way with GWB. We just have to be ready when McCain and Congress try to sneak crap like this through.
