The Alaska Public Safety Officer is an “At will” position and can be removed from his position at any time by the Governor.

This is a non issue but as you can see the media has already launched so much disinformation that it's going to be hard to sort out before election day

McCain Palin needs to go around the media. Although I'm loving how hard the McCain team is hitting back at the media. It's refreshing to see.

Someone posted on FR that he (or she) knew Monegan for 25 years, and that he wasn't fired, but transferred to another department. He resigned that position. Which means, he quit. The FR poster does say the trooper should have been fired.
