As discussed here. If you don't know what astroturfing is, it's defined here.
I figure the process goes something like this:Or at least that's how I'd do it if I were an underhanded sociopath who looks like something that wriggled out of Peter Lorre's a**. (No offense, Mr. Moulitsas.)
- Kos posts the initial meme -- in this case, "Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor" -- attributing it to "a reader."
- The astroturfing team blasts that meme across dozens (hundreds?) of blogs, like so, in an attempt to make it look like a spontaneous response to Kos's post.
- Morons fall for it.
In this post-Palin world, that's the way this stuff is done. The accusation is made, and then it's confirmed or refuted. The onus is on Kos to prove me wrong. This is called, in his words, "citizen journalism."
Now I'm just going to sit back and see how it shakes out.

Pilate was not a governor!!! I read this blog the other day and it really puts this dem talking point in context... Consider this excerpt: “It seems the modern liberals seem to have almost the same view of Jesus as the zealots did. That he would serve a political purpose and a change in government. When the truth is that Jesus did everything he could to avoid being seen in these terms. The community that Jesus died for on the cross was for the whole human community and the sins of our community. Jesus was not limited to helping out in a community in temporal terms in Nazareth or Jerusalem, but in eternal terms by dying for our sins and enabling us to live with him forever. The organizing he has done is to order all things for our good. His job title is Messiah not community organizer, though Obama seems to aspire to both.

The host of Clout had as his guest attention whore “Ed Asner”. Poor old Ed must have felt left behind in the look at me
I am a nut category said that the appeal that Sarah Palin has with white male voters is because she is hot.
The host asked if Geraldine Ferraro was a hot pick for VP and Ed said no, Ferraro was cute but Palin is a hottie
that will appeal to white male voters who want to bed her.
I could not believe it — but then considering the source I wasn’t surprised.
