1982 - Obama Commercial
Barack Obama Campaign ^ | 9/12/08 | Barack Obama Campaign

1982

John McCain goes to Washington.

Things have changed in the last 26 years, But McCain hasn't.

He admits he still doesn't know how to use a computer, can't send an e-mail, still doesn't understand the economy, and favors $200 Billion in tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class. After one President who was out of touch, we just can't afford more of the same.

(I'm Barack Obama, and I approved this message)

This ad is the grand roll-out for Obama's new get-tough personal attack campaign against McCain. If this is their best shot, I say Bring It On!

The McCain response might be... “Unlike our opponent, John McCain does not need to google foreign policy ideas.”

Indeed. Obama is opening the way for the "No Experience in a Dangerous World" campaign.... It'll kill him.

That is so lame.

McCain’s ad team is very superior to Obama’s.

Making fun of the old guy. That'll bring the seniors into the polls for Obama.

This commercial tells me that Obama is trying to get the youth vote - which he was supposed to have sewn up.

Things were good in 1982. Things have certainly progressed since then. Not all progress is good progress.

Obama mocking the senior vote.

My father doesn't use a computer or a cell phone and I know many seniors who don't.

Obama is going for the youth vote, but election after election it is seniors who vote and not the Jeff Spicoli's in dorm rooms.

He can have an army of computer geeks to perform the business of government at his disposal and doesn’t need to waste time watching some kid who ‘likes turtles’ on youtube.

Most excellent.

Barry, aka "The Moran", just dissed the largest consistent voting block in the US, i.e. seniors.

Wow. I can see that it might be a good ad but it is so poorly done it is embarrassing.

I love it. I think McCain should put a commercial out there sending an email and cheering for himself, “I did it!”. Then, pan to him counting dollar bills. Would get the point across to Obama he isn’t concerned about the idiotic tactics being used by the wacked out left.

all he has to do is same ageism

this Ad will not go down in places like south FL where many of the old live plus is he saying that because McCain cannot use the computer as good as them then he should not be president

so in their eyes the experience to be president is community organiser and send e-mails

pathetic, their elite view of life is seriously disgusting
use the liberals arguments against them.
time for conservatives and the republicans to not keep taking their shite and start to fight back

I think the McCain team should go back 26 years in Barack Obama’s life at age 21. We would undoubtedly see him doing drugs, being an angry black man, associating with communist professors. Two can play this game and Barack will lose the comparison.

That's exactly it. They are shocked at what the latest polls are telling them, how the big youth advantage has gone "bye, bye."

I’m not gung ho about mccain, but this ad seems more like a school project than a political ad.
