I am absolutely CONVINCED that McCain was playing rope-a-dope with that earlier campaign official who said he would not campaign against Obama.
I don't know how good of a pilot McCain was, but he's a hell of a tactician.

I take sharper tack to mean a move to the right. A duller tack would be to the left of course.
He is already saying the Surge worked, keep Bush tax cuts, etc.

To do list for Obama...
1. Organize the community.
2. UH, UH, UH, UH, UH.
3. Say, Enough! Then say Enough again and again.
4. Have Michelle go look for Biden.
5. Call Reverend Wright for advice.

My opinion, B. Clinton gave Obama some general advice he could get from anyone and Clinton said he’d campaign for him if he needed his help. Meanwhile, the Clintons are really gearing to undercut him from behind the scenes and situp for 2012.

fta: "Mr. Obama and his campaign have seemed flummoxed in trying to figure out how to deal with her. His aides said they were looking to the news media to debunk the image of her as a blue-collar reformer, even as they argued that her power to help Mr. McCain was overstated."
YES!! They are going to rely on the media to attack Palin. And then a little bit of their hypocritical downplaying at the end.
Don't lose focus now men, full steam ahead...

LOL. A great cartoon would should McCain and Palin passing Obama/Biden’s sailboat. McCain/Palin would be in a fast, beautiful “America’s Cup” style boat while Obama/Biden would be in a smaller dingier boat with holes in the sagging sails and Biden and Obama both desperately bailing water to try to keep their sailboat afloat!!

Obama’s boat would be government made since he thinks the government is so great.
McCain could have a private company make his.

Yeah, the Slimes were just as ‘objective’ as ever. At the bottom:
“Discussion topics [with Bill Clinton], aides said, included how Mr. Obama might handle Ms. Palin in the days ahead.”
Obsess much? Much too much.

Actually, Barry and Joe ought to take the next 8 weeks off. They’ve already lined up all the votes they’re likely to get from their own efforts, and now their hopes depend upon the MSM distorting and lying about McCain and Palin plus any possible gaffes from McCain or Palin that the MSM can exploit to the hilt. The less seen & heard of Barry and Joe, the better for their prospects. They should both go to Hawaii for the next 2 months.

A community organizer? Well, uh, he organizes communities. [Seriously, didn’t he have something to do with ACORN? Funny sounding word, ‘acorn’.] Even more funny, in one of his books, BO admitted that he failed in his community organizing. I forget where I heard that today. Rush, Hannity, or Levin? Dunno. I can’t get enough of this comedy act!

barack is so unpopular that he should begin attacking himself. That should give him a rise in the polls. Thats a good Idea:
John McCain dishonored the victims of the 9-11 attacks by attending an anniversary ceremony with know terrorist sympathizer, Barack 0bama. John called him 'honorable' and 'inspiring'. Tell John McCain that terrorism isn't honorable and neither is he. Im Barack 0bama and I approve this message.

ACORN=Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now
I guess they had to throw in that urgent “Now” because ACOR looks pretty silly.

I don’t remember Plato’s children, but I do remember, And the Children Shall Lead, where the Friendly Angel got more and more hideous. It’s hard to forget the children’s chant.
“Hail, hail, fire and snow, call the angel, we will go, far away, for to see, friendly angel come to me.”
