First on TVNewser: Insiders tell us the first Charlie Gibson/Sarah Palin interview is complete. The first sit-down lasted 30 minutes and included questions about energy independence, foreign affairs and whether Gov. Palin is ready to be Vice President. "Absolutely," is her response. When asked if she is ready to step in and be president of the United States. Palin answers, "You bet."
We're told Gibson asked for two extra minutes and used it to ask Palin whether she agrees with the "Bush Doctrine." Among Palin's responses:
• "The top priority is to defend the United States of America. I know that John McCain would do that."
• "With new leadership comes opportunity to do things better."
• "War has got to be a last option."
• "If a strike is imminent we have every right to defend our country...and that's what a McCain/Palin administration would do."
• "In order to stop Islamic extremists we must do whatever it takes. We must not blink, Charlie."
It looks as if she is going to show America her definitive nature, when speaking about issues. She doesn’t speak in a reflective language unbecoming of an Executive. She exudes confidence from her Executive experience in quick, every day decision making processes.
She’s in good company, Ronald Reagan started as a sports reporter too.
Charlie tried to nail her down on religion. But she stood her ground.
Most of the liberal media does not realize that they are dealing with a very smart and confident lady.
Only a couple years ago, I was afraid of how the first woman in the White House might react. No longer.

ABC is populated by lunatics, Charlie Gibson being a possible exception.
When asked by Gibson if under the NATO treaty, the U.S. would have to go to war if Russia again invaded Georgia, Palin responded: “Perhaps so. I mean, that is the agreement when you are a NATO ally, is if another country is attacked, you’re going to be expected to be called upon and help....”
Wow! She actually expects the US to live up to its treaty with NATO. /s

Okay over at ABC they have a headline up making it appear that SARAH WANTS A WAR WITH RUSSIA! Completely misleading headline... They want the average undecided to think she is a war monger. You should read some of the comments. The comment section needs to be freeped folks. I did my part.

It helps when a statement like that is put into context. But of course, the DUmmies don't understand the concept of context ; )

I would have thought they would have kept today apolitical.
Sounds as if Charlie was determined to get a quote about God that they could use to show her as a dangerously religious right winger. He just kept coming back with the same question rephrased.
When the media interviews Obama and he gives them a bogus or incomplete answer they just smile as if they had a happy leg tingle and move on.
yeah they better because millions of people will watch the interview on TV and ABC doesn’t want to look foolish
