Vanity: Where was Michelle?

I usually can't stand vanities, but I haven't sen anything on this: McCain and Obama went to Ground Zero in NYC, and while I saw Cindy McCain, I have to ask...where was Michelle Obama? Why did she refuse to come to NYC to honor our dead?

I think the DNC has told her to take the low road for a while, much the same way they did to Terreeezzzaaa after Kerry's nomination. (I'm pretty sure they untied her after he lost...probably a bad thing.) I think they (correctly) recognize that Michelle's demeanor simply pisses people off.

Well, your post assumes that she refused to attend the ceremony, which may not be the case. Actually, attendance and a soft whimper into a hankie would have gone a long way toward showing that she is moved by a love for this country. Then again, anything that she would have done would probably have been be heavily criticised by many as phony.

It was mentioned about all the american flag that were everywhere after 9/11 and I couldn't help but think of the flag in the trash after the DNC convention.

I suspected she might not show up, but geeez that's stupid.

Also note that McCain attended morning services in PA, but Barry was no where to be seen at any of the sites. Oh, that's right, he was meeting with Bubba today.

I doubt there will be much made of this, but for those that pay attention this behaviour just further reinforces what we have already come to know about Barry and Michele.
