seriously there’s nothing to this...sorry. It was just an underhand toss onto the pile of flowers already in place. He was the first one there and the others gently placed their flowers immediately after. The only ones who will have a problem with this are the ones who don’t like Obama already.
Like the sneaky "57 states" comment, claimed to be a verbal gaffe, this could be another secret signal to muslims.
When they go to Mecca, they throw rocks at a pillar representing satan. Throwing stuff at the enemy is a show of faithfulness.

I saw some of the families who were there this morning (some of the first to come down there) who were tossing flowers so they landed more to the center of the pond. I was surprised, but I guess some place them, some toss them. Don’t think we should make a big deal out of this. Maybe he saw others doing it and thought it was OK.

Do you know how happy I am to come to FReeRepublic each day? It’s like everyone here is so politically educated that we have a million inside jokes that regular voters wouldn’t understand. I just love that!
I cannot believe that Mr. Obama would deliberately go out of his way to dishonor the memorial at Ground O in front of the entire United States by "tossing" his flower(s) in some symbolic gesture of distaste. Until it is proven different, I prefer to believe that no one candidate for the President of the U.S. would intentionally show anything other than respect at the site of this horrible attack. I don't care what his politics are, nobody could be that crass and disrespectful. I'm not buying this at all. I myself will have to see it/hear it/to believe it.
It was nice of the democrats to send somebody to the ceremony on behalf of the 19 terrorists and their families.
