Quote of the Day? Posted by: Matt Lewis at 9:53 AM Every time I thought I was getting somewhere, theyd start speaking Spanish."
- Rep. Charlie Rangel explains why he failed to pay federal taxes on rental income from his Dominican Republic "villa" ...
I like it! Will you be the McCain party manager please?
Don’t worry about immigrants learning English. Be more concerned about your Senators learning Spanish.
At least Chuckles Charlie can go to France and say, “Merci Beaucoup!”. Correct, Ears-Hussein????
Maybe I can get away without paying taxes this year by saying: “Every time I thought I was getting somewhere, they’d start speaking Ebonics.”
LOL! Charlie has a comedic presence whether he knows it or not.
That explanation comes under the heading of “I’m either really really stupid to say something this ridiculous or I’m laughing at anyone who thinks a Democrat will ever be called to account for anything”. Personally I think it’s the latter.
Oh yeah, The IRS will most certainly accept that explanation. /s
The fact the can't understand Spanish (a language celebrated by those who celebrate diversity!), and that he says "they" just starting speaking Spanish, just shows how un-diverse! he really is.
Please book this knucklehead for an interview with O'Reilly....
Better yet book him with Savage....
What an idiot. Rangel obviously didn't get Obama's message. Why can't one of his grand children translate for him?
You need to make sure that your child can speak Spanish.Barack Obama

I want to know if along with back taxes/fees due, will he also suffer some kind of penalty because the disclosure docs he's been providing the House have been incorrect all these years? Pain of perjury and all that.
Good one Charlie. Ranks up there with “dog ate the homework”, or my all time favorite, “I didn’t hear any mention of fund raising at the meeting about the visit to the Buddhist Temple, drank too much ice tea and had to pee.”
I don’t know why McCain and Palin aren’t slamming this over and over along with Rep Jefferson. They are running against corrpution in congress and won’t attack corrupt congress critters. What is going on?
McCain/Palin are making change in Washington the centerpiece of their campaign. This would seem to be a great opportunity to highlight the very crap they are campaigning against, on one hand, and on the other hand make expose Obama as a champion of the corrupt status quo.
Demasiado malo, Charlie.
They need to investigate further back. I’ll bet that 5 grand is just for last year.
- Rep. Charlie Rangel explains why he failed to pay federal taxes on rental income from his Dominican Republic "villa" ...
This is actually an admission that Rangel knew he should be paying taxes, but he just didn't really pursue the issue.
NO. We need him there. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t dare go after any Republicans with Chuck Scandal sitting there.
Doubt McCain will go after Rangel on this...Rangel is a liberal Dem. and McCain is known to work with them a lot (everyone seeeeems to forget this about McCain)
