I’m thinking he looked a bit like Robert Conrad.
....but, oh yes, the Swedish elite, the bien pensants (pardon my French) are all for the black Messiah. Even the so-called conservative (here we are really talking about CINO) PM, Mr Reinfeldt, is hoping for an Obama victory.
There are a few good blogs (for instance http://erixon.com) who are pro-McCain and Palin, but you will not find any article in the MSM that is not pro-Obama/Dems.
Do they know anything about the US system or the politics? Not a thing they don't copy from ABC, CBS, CNN, NYT, WaPo, LAT etc, etc.
The Swedish blogs are written in Swedish, but this blog is written in the Queen's English. Enjoy:
BTTT so I can see this at home.
Damn work firewall! Sheesh...don’t they know this is important? :-)
I think he looked liked George Peppard in Breakfast at Tiffany.
I will go you one better — I am beginning to think I supported the wrong person in 2000!
The more I have learned about Senator McCain the more I have come to respect him even more.
God bless this man for his service to this nation.
God bless all who have served and are now serving!
May they all come home safely.
That too.. However, I when it came to Illinois in 2000 it was over.. Nothing against Bush, however, I think that McCain is more a budget hawk than Bush and I think he can be more aggressive when it comes to wars.
Amen to that.
BTW, just an FYI: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2080115/posts
However, great video nonetheless........
Does anybody here know how to get a screen capture of that video? (Preferably the last shot of McCain.) We NEED a still picture on this site. McCain will break hearts and win votes.
His limp is very obvious. But Randi Rhoades said he was “well treated” by the NVA? Air America wouldn’t lie, would they?
I find it interesting that the video of McCain giving the speech in the field in Pa. that follows the clip of his release in Vietnam is 2:25 seconds and includes his reference to the Gospel of John, “No greater love...” is taken from Fox News, whereas the separate video that you can click on below that one is from CNN and cuts off just after a verbal stumble and before that reference. Hmmmm....
I agree with that statement. The Senator McCain I am seeing today is the one I liked in the 90's when he was the Maverick.
They will say something about the salute, too. They will say he is lying about not being able to raise his arms.
I totally agree. I think McCain compromises but he doesn’t kiss @$$ like Bush does. But I will have to say one thing for Bush he has been unwavering in the WOT.
“The more I have learned about Senator McCain the more I have come to respect him even more.”
I’ve been VERY hard on him over immigration — and Bush too!
But I too have grown to respect the old warrior.
One only has to ask one’s self who they would rather be trapped in a foxhole with: Obama or McCain?

Check out what that piece of crap, Jimmah Carter, has been saying.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-08-28-carter-denver_N.htm
“DENVER Former president Jimmy Carter called Republican presidential candidate John McCain a ‘distinguished naval officer,’ but he said the Arizona senator has been ‘milking every possible drop of advantage’ from his time served as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.”
Take a peanut and stick it up your &#%&% @ss Jimmah!

That’s PERFECT, Mary. Thank you.
