The fact that she apparently supports McCain/Palin could be a watershed signal for elite democrat/feminist women that it’s ok to stop chewing on Palin’s ankles. Perhaps she is a surreptitious surrogate for Hill.

No doubt about the second (a surrogate for Hill) but can only hope you're right about the first.

If this is a signal from the elite left- watch for Maureen Dowd to fall in line. after mocking Palin as a modern day metaphor for George Bernard Shaw’s “Eliza DoLittle”, next MoDo should bring in Ayn Rand’s “Dagny Taggart” as a more appropiate allegory. MoDo knows where the bread gets buttered.

All Obama talks about is his indispensability to the country. You know - like the rest of us can't make it WITHOUT him. That is true spirit of elitism.

Do you think that anyone on the left has actually read more than 100 pages of “Atlas Shrugged?”

Who did she marry from Columbia? Was it during law school? I only remember her as single (and busy snagging Stein) from Simpson Thacher days.

No... a lot smarter, better looking, a whole lot savvier about what it takes to rise from the middle class to the upper class, and a whole lot more disciplined about doing it. Underestimating Lynn would be a serious mistake....

finally got the tag right...

Further thought -- poor Ashley Dupre was too working class not to fall for the "Pretty Woman" nonsense and think she could snag a respectable guy as a hooker. Serious students of class mobility understand the importance of surface respectability, the right schools (Pomona is a very elite liberal arts college) and the ability to pull off the unaffected use of classic good manners.

Huge Hillary supporter. From what I hear they are as much friends as anyone can be at that level.

Huge Hillary supporter.

Well, that explains why she'd gently slip the knife into The Chosen One for not connecting with ordinary folks.

All this without even mentioning his “small town, clinging to their guns and religion” comment.

He is so hosed, I can’t even believe this right now.

Only the hard left is going to vote for him if this keeps up.
