The idiots don’t recognize that this is her strength... it was more important to her to see her friends and family than to stage a photo-op!
Some folks on the right think that the left is scared by Palin and the impact she's having on the raise. I don't think the emotion is fear. It started as disdain when she was selected and turned into raw contempt when she didn't melt under their initial broadsides and instead returned far more withering fire herself. Fear would be a better emotion for them - they might start coming up with a more structured counterattack - but they are too arrogant in their own sense of superiority to allow that emotion. In the end, they will just write off their loss to Rovian gutter politics (that's the way they see it) and not to the fact that they are completely out of touch with a majority of Americans. They didn't learn after 2004 and they aren't learning now.
