With the two Democrats trying to out do each other with stupid comments it may be over sooner but September 29, 2008 is my guess on the end of the Obama era.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!?

/Blutarski

Complacency is the goal of any - ANY - lamestream media article putting Obambi “out of it” or saying “its’ over”. I have no clue who the author of this is, but I can tell you that the number one danger for all of us is to believe that Obama is through. We need to keep fighting the fight, every day, and in every way possible! (gosh, I sound like a cheerleader!?!)

We can’t take anything for granted. Dem fraud will be a whole new ball game this year, I’m certain.

Evangelicals: needs 71%. He is running against an Evangelical and has nothing to offer these Christian voters.

Obama needs 71% of evangelicals. That cannot be correct.

Coach’s grandma apparently never told him not to count his chickens until they’re hatched. I hope he is right. But this is far from over.

I think that perhaps they might force Biden to step down. Probably due to “health” reasons. If that's the case, (I know it's long shot) does Hillary step in to “save” the party, or does Hillary sandbag for the next election.

The dims have finally figured out that the dynamic has changed, will they try a change of their own?

Just thinkin’...

Well, I wonder how the polls will change when The ZERO dumps “Joey Lunch Pail” and puts Hillary on the ticket (or some other desperate move that the media would laud as a “master stroke”)?

I hate to count chickens before they are fully hatched because the left is a hateful thing that will not die no matter how many stakes are driven through its vapid heart. I said it from the beginning that McCain was going to a coronation not an election even without Sarah Palin the independents were going fall heavy for him. They almost always fall for the GOP because most aren’t liberals. Watching Obama fight it out with Hillary really sealed his doom, it highlighted his clear vulnerabilities and overwrought his image as an iconic figure.

The thing though isn’t that he was overwrought as much as when you looked under the cover you saw a man with a history that did not fit. The Great Oz was not so great nor so accomplished. The great Oz was essentially an empty suit with a big voice with art for delivering speeches. Obama has struck a wall like a jellyfish in a rocket but for those of us who looked at the reality saw the wall and saw Obama as the jellyfish.

Sometimes I think the political strategerists are just too close to the trees. They look at the most silly things and assume this is the perfect storm for liberals forgetting it helps to have a candidate running on issues that people really support. The left instead fools itself that America is just like them. They never stop to ask themselves whether the America that sees need for change means that it desires bigger more expansive more expensive government. They never stop to ask when they are exulting each other on how tolerant they are whether America wants to have their liberal social views shoved on and indoctrinated into their children. They never ask the hard questions of themselves because they can’t accept the answer.

The answer is that America still wants to win. America still wants traditional values of strong two parent man and woman families. That America doesn’t take pride in killing the unborn or the elderly. That America doesn’t see bigger government and higher taxes as a solution to the woes of the common man. That most Americans still want a job not a handout and as long as that is the case the left when they run empty suits built of pure liberalism as a frontal assault will find themselves left wanting on election day.

John McCain and Sarah Palin don’t need big words to be respected. They have proven themselves through the sheer substance of their lives.

Black vote: needs 95%. Zogby says he has “lost support” among Black voters.

Wheres the source on that?

Anyone else getting a strange vibe from the DIM camp about the possibility of Biden falling on his sword so Hillary can step in?

Well the article makes a lot of sense except for the black voters. Obama isn't losing any of them unless he does something radical like dump Biden and put Shrillary on the ticket. That might lose him some black votes but will be more than offset by the women votes he will win back.

I believe that if the GOP had nominated a conservative to begin with, we wouldn't even be worrying about an Obama presidency right now. But that didn't happen and it's going to be a battle. Getting Sarah Palin on the ticket was a master stroke but it still doesn't completely wipe out the fact that we basically have a liberal at the top of the ticket. The fact that McCain is a war hero isn't much of a factor in this race. Bob Dole was a war hero too but he still got slaughtered at the polls by a known draft-dodger.

If not for Sarah Palin, Free Republic would have been as despondent as the DU is right now. Imagine how depressed we all would have been if it were Tom Ridge or Joe Lieberman on the ticket.

So while I am now very optimistic that the GOP can pull out the election after all - but I'm not seeing a landslide here. There is much work to be done.

I have wondered. I have seen all those numbers about the way Mr. Collins has them here but the polls do not vary from the “statistical tie” that they have been reporting for months. Are we forgetting to count the Illegal-American vote? Is it expected to very much higher this year? Republicans never get much more than 0% of the Illegal-American vote. Same goes for that other minority, Dead-Americans. Are they expected to vote in significantly higher numbers this year? And what about Pet-Americans? Is Hussein pied piping them to the polls in record numbers?

This guy missed the fact that O’Biden has 110% of the Dead, Illegal and Ex-Con votes.
It ain’t over until Palin, er, McCain is sworn in and maybe not then. Fraud, slander, libel, lawsuits and other abuse await us between now and then.

Don’t say it is over. It is not over even when it is over, recall the endless carping over the results of the 2000 election in Florida. There are all kinds of challenges being prepared “just in case” the Democrats think they have the least shot at reversing any of the outcomes. ACORN has planted the seeds of of what is surely a MASSIVE vote fraud in the places where the “community organizers” have been most active.

The McCain-Palin ticket shall win handily in some 3,000 or so counties in these United States, the Obama-Biden ticket (or whomever shall be representing it by the first of November, 2008) WILL win overwhelmingly in some 600 or so counties concentrated through the “Rust Belt”, the East Coast and the Pacific Coast.

I see a case for partitioning the United States into one trifurcated tribal enclave, then the rest of the country remains under the original national identity. The tribal government is recognized as being able to pursue its own economic course, and apply its own rules as to the award of honors and status within its own territory, but they shall have to have visas to enter the remainder of the United States territory.

Wasn’t a course somewhat similar to this suggested for the country of Iraq by no less a great thinker than Joe Biden himself? (Or maybe he just plagarized it from somebody else.)

One other factor—all those young FAD voters will stay home if they think he is a loser —if that occurs he is really going to get blown away

McCain better not go into the PREVENT DEFENSE mode like Bush did in the First debate in 2004

Even the local democrat yellowdog committeeman here in SE PA doesn’t have a sign on his lawn

I cannot be this optimistic - blacks will vote for Obama (higher than the % listed)and Obama will still win the left and northeast coastal states with the high number of electoral votes.
