With the two Democrats trying to out do each other with stupid comments it may be over sooner but September 29, 2008 is my guess on the end of the Obama era.

Zogby says he has “lost support” among Black voters.

Really?

Let’s hope he’s right.

It isn’t over until the last ACORN fraud vote is cast.

Second Stage: we need to press more to ensure we optimize GOP seats in Congress. If not add to, at least keep the current split.

Do not misunderestimate the depths to which the backers of these people will stoop to secure the White House of the the United States of America.

I agree its over. I called the election last Wednesday night. If you look at the internals, Obama is bleeding supporting in every category. Forget the nationals, forget the state by state polls. I don't need them to tell me the election is over. The internals are instructive and so is Obama's conduct on the campaign trail.

I don’t believe in complacency. It’s nice to hope it’s over, but because of the EC, we can’t assume it.

His defeat, although not certain yet, should be such that he will never contemplate running for POTUS again in the future.

Maybe true, but RATs manufacture votes. Vote fraud may well dominate this election.

September 29, 2008 is my guess on the end of the Obama era...

...you may be correct, but victory is written with electoral votes, which pay little attention to percentages, being all or none, for each state...extremely dumb system, IMHO...if 49% of Pennsylvanians vote Pub, why shouldn’t 49% of EV’s go to them...but I digress...tell me, which of the Kerry states will McCain flip in order to acheive this remarkable landslide victory?

This one is over.

I knew it was over once he secured the nomination.

While these stats may be a morale booster, they really mean little to nothing. Electoral votes are what really count so one needs to have a rundown, by state, to have a sense of where things are. National stats don’t get it.

Black vote: needs 95%. Zogby says he has “lost support” among Black voters.

I'm not buying that one. There is good news though...new polling has McCain ahead by 5 in Virginia. I heard it on the radio this morning...just a teaser so I don't know who's poll it is.

It is all about turnout. Obama and the Dems have built an impressive on the ground network in virtually every state, the produce of a highly contested primary that went down to the wire with every state counting. Such happy talk as this underestimates the Dem base and their ability to get out the base.

I was not aware that the Elecotral College gave votes to “Catholics”, “Evangelicals”, “Jews”, “Blacks”, etc. I thought it went by states.

I pretty much agree with this guy, at least about the presidential race and have believed since the primaries that Fauxbama had ZERO chance of winning, and that if he got 40% during the general election he’d be lucky, and could very well make McGovern look good.

I have far more faith in Mr. and Mrs. America to see through a stuffed shirt and propped up peon, than in the democrats ability to prevent them from realizing they have put up a stuffed shirt and propped up peon.

"Black vote: needs 95%. Zogby says he has “lost support” among Black voters. "

There may be less black voters turning out in November if it looks for certain like Obama will lose. However, he will still get 95% of their vote. Of that I have no doubt.
