South Carolina Democratic chairwoman Carol Fowler reportedly lashed out at Sarah Palin Wednesday, saying the Republican vice presidential candidates primary qualification seems to be that she hasnt had an abortion.
Politico.com reports that Fowler, wife of former Democratic National Committee Chairman Don Fowler, said that John McCains decision to choose an abortion rights opponent would not boost his candidacy among many women.

Another prime example of how the Democrats are when things don’t go their way.
Hateful and totally uncalled for. She needs to resign for that remark.
But I know that won’t happen. Sigh.
Should be ashamed. There are plenty of legit disagreements I’m sure she could be bring up but the first inclination is to get in the gutter and say something hateful and totally inaccurate.
If I agreed with every single plank of the Democrat party I’d still vote against them because of the slime.
And your mom ABORTED your brain in the birthing process, Mrs. Fowler. If you had a brain, you wouldn't be this DUMB!
The Fowler home must be a really interesting place. First Don gets caught on a commercial flight yucking it up over the prospect of Gustav hitting NOLA. Now this example of love speech from his other half.
LLS
Both, if they accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
But one will have a lot more ‘splainin to do when he gets there.
Does Carol Fowler have any children? I guess they’re the lucky ones.
Somehow, I have to believe that at least some of the Dimorats in S C are women..in fact, ladies.
I have to believe that they are appalled at the words and behavior of this “person” who has risen to this high a position within their party.
I cannot believe this shrill loonie speaks for the women of S C.
What does it take for her to be removed before they are embarrassed even further?
Birds of a feather.....
So why the outrage then? Look, McCain could have chosen Margaret Sanger herself and these women still would not have voted for him. Ditto for the rest of the liberals. It's all a bunch of hypocrisy and malarkey, McCain didn't follow their script and now they're screaming like banshees because of it. They wanted McCain to pick a pro-abortion VP so the conservatives stay home and Obama wins from low voter turnout.
Obviously, the campaign chairman has not been following the polls in which the female vote is broken out.
we can switch that around and say the dems qualifications are that you have to have had an abortion.
we can switch that around and say the dems qualifications are that you have to have had an abortion.
I still don’t understand why the Dems got away from the “safe, legal, rare” line that worked for Bill Clinton. Instead they got sucked (no pun intended) into the radical feminist view that sees abortion not as a necessary evil, but as some sort of sick emancipation ritual. Every once in a while they slip up and really let their true feelings show. I was hoping we would get a gaffe this bad out of Biden, but this Fowler nitwit will do for now. Still plenty of time for JB to swallow his shoe.
“What does it take for her to be removed before they are embarrassed even further?”
The rank and file of the SC democrat party gleefully support what she said. SC will be a solid red state in the election because the dims are a pitiful minority in the state
And I'm glad she did. How odd that supporters of Punishment Baby Barak seem to disagree.
