You dont hear their hearts actually start to break until he says, Troopergate is going to come out in her favor. Although the most traumatic part, surely, must have been the exchange about how the mayor of Wasillas experience compares favorably to Barack Obamas. Hey, thats not in the script.
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: gravel; mccain; mccainpalin; palin
This is one for the vaults. Mike Gravel takes the high road and ruins the day of two commie radio hosts.

She took on and beat a series of entrenched good old boys, mayors, governors, boards, oil companies.....and beat them all.
Don’t you think they all paid big bucks for opposition research to scuttle Sarah’s advances into “their” territory?
Of couse they did. And they came up with nada.

This is hilarious because the lefty hosts didn’t get what they bargained for AT ALL.

McCain/Palin is the closest thing to a Libertarian ticket that we have seen get this far. My Libertarian friends are flipping out about it.

According to one of the posters on Hot Air, she is from Afghanistan. Apparently he/she went to her website.

I think the hosts were from Pacifica Radio, probably KPFK.
One of them is (I think) Sonali Kohatkar (sp?)

I think Gravel actually likes Palin . . . like a lot of us do . . .I have to admit the only things I know about Gravel are Rush's parody "An Army of One - or TWO!" mocking Gravel's stance on homosexuals in the military, and his campaign ad where he just stood there by a lake and then walked away. From this interview, I suspect he's also an old school politician and a gentleman. You could tell he felt the talk about Bristol Palin's pregnancy was in very poor taste.

I highly recommend that all Freepers take 9 minutes out of their day today to listen to this clip. A former Dem Senator simply ripping a new one for the very lib hosts of this radio show. A thing of great beauty.
