The Dems are going to come off looking really bad on this one.

Didn't the trooper also shoot at his son-in-law or stepson?

The crazy tropper tasered his step-son (from his fourth or fifth marraige).

Yes and he did it in front of Bristol Palin and ‘offered’ (threatened) to do the same to her.

You are a cloud to the conversation.

The man admitted he used a tazer on his young step-son, the boy being the son of Sarah’s sister. The shooting incident was his claim that he could use his wife’s hunting license to kill a moose.

He tasered the boy (after the 11-year-old apparently asked him to).

He threatened to shoot Palin’s father if he “dared” help her sister obtain attorney representation in their divorce proceedings.

There are a variety of other charges against this officer as well.

The trooper's stepson "ASKED" to be tasered after his stepfather got back from a taser training session with his brand new toy.

And the trooper "put the taser on the 'test' setting".

This was the trooper's explanation of the event.

I'm not sure why Democrats and the troopers' union think that we should have a state trooper who appears to be totally judgment-deficient out there pulling people over for law enforcement purposes.

I mean - I don't respond to requests from 10-year-olds regarding potentially dangerous activities.

Playin' with the Taser? That would be a Big No, Bob.

He tazered him - 11 years old.

He was married to Palin's sister - who wanted a divorce. the trooper ranted that if her father (also Palin's father) helped her get a lawyer, he would put a bullet in him...

Nice guy the Obambites are concerned about.

This trooper, Wooten I think, is one bad, bad dude.

I read the PDF files from the Flopping Aces site of the investigator notes about this trooper who, by the way, STILL HAS A JOB somebody explain this.

The Dems are going to look so stupid defending this guy. The fact is that Palin went out of her way to AVOID causing this nut job state trooper from losing his job not that anybody cares about the truth or anything.

There’s a wealth of bad news on this fellow. Yes he tasered his stepson. He also liked to stop along his patrol route and have a beer or two, often taking along a can for drinking in the cruiser.

Oh, and there was that time he demanded the bar owner throw out a patron who was there with a lady that he (Wooten) rather fancied.

And don’t forget Wooten’s vow to make Palin’s father “eat a bullet”.

This dude is no one anybody should be defending and even though he’s represented by a powerful union he STILL got five day’s suspension from the job although he should have been fired.

That Monegin fellow is a jerk and Wooten had absolutely nothing to do with Sarah Palin’s termination of his fine self. Monegin thought he was above such as doing what he’s told to do so boom, he pretends to be so noble as to quit rather than fire the fine, fine.....very fine....trooper Wooten.

Let them keep this up....it’s the story to nowhere...much like that bridge.

In 2006, state investigators found Wooten guilty of "a significant pattern of judgment failures," including using a Taser on his 10-year-old stepson and drinking beer while operating a state trooper vehicle.
