Good news in North Carolina is not confined to the Presidential race!
I have trouble buying this poll, as much as I’d like to. A 20-point lead in NC for the Presidential race (Bush beat Kerry by 12 points) just leads me to believe their sample was too GOP heavy. This same poll shows a sharp swing for the GOP candidate for governor.
Good, redistricting is coming up and it would be good to get a Republican to oversee it.
Thank you, Governor Palin. Coattails?
This is great news.
McCrory does great in interviews. He needs to stay out there because he outshines Purdue in every way.
Yes, but I believe we’ll need a GOP legislature in order to get better lines for us. The Dems are overrepresented there, badly.

More good news in NC: Elizabeth Dole has regained the lead.

Don’t forget it helps that Governor Easley’s corrupt and people are ready for a change. In this state, it’ll benefit the Republicans.
Pardon me? Are you from NC?
Oh, and I see a 7-11!
Did not get to hear the MCCrory Purdue “debate” tonight - but hope McCrory talked about Democratic Party corruption in NC that is bringing this state DOWN into the dumps - tax wise, industry wise, jobs are fleeing....
If we don’t throw the Dem bums out, NC will keep sinking to the bottom of the SouthEast USA in terms of attractiveness to companies to relocate here.
Kick the Dem Bums out!!!
Wow. Eight point lead for governor. Go us!
When was she trailing?
A few weeks ago, she fell slightly behind state Senator Kay Hagan. It was within the margin or error.
Bout time for a Republican in NC.
