Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has taken a more aggressive line of attack this week.
He has repeatedly hit his rivals for being dishonest about their portrayal of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R) record of reform.
“They’re not telling the truth,” Obama said during an interview on MSNBC’s “Countdown” Monday night.
“I think we’ve all gotten accustomed to being able to spin things in politics. But when you’ve got somebody who was for a project being presented as being against it, then that, you know, stretches the bounds of spin into new areas,” the Illinois Democrat added. “There is just a sense that they’re making these assertions that ignore the facts of their campaigns and their past history. And I think people should be troubled by that.”
Obama’s comments during the interview mirror those made during campaign stops Monday, as well as the message of a new television ad accusing Republican nominee John McCain and Palin of “lying” about their records and being “anything but” the mavericks they portray themselves to be.

Mike Klonsky, the Maoist Hardliner, Obama supporter and former best friend of the Weatherman terrorist group founders William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, received a $175,000 grant from the William Ayers/Barack Obama-led Annenberg Challenge to run the Small Schools Workshop.
Klonsky belonged to the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and was best friends with William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn who later became famous for their acts of terrorism when the SDS broke up and the Weathermen terror group was formed.

He's trying to say it's the same as Kerry's bonehead play about the $86 million. The difference is, in Kerry's case he VOTED for the $86MM before he VOTED against it.
Even if you allow the, because she favored the State paying for the bridge, she was FOR the bridge, at that poimt in time she didn't have a VOTE to make. The decisions were being made elsewhere. But when she DID have a vote, as governor, she said no thank you fedferal government, we'll spend it on something more worthy of taxpayers' precious money.
Yes, I completely understand the situation about the bridge.
My post was point out that
1) the guy continue to be a bumbling moron
2) he can’t even state his accusations in a clear message (with his teleprompter), and
3) even if his “big” lying charge was about the bridge, it’s utterly weak, because it’s not frame.
Further, he was referring to “them” (McCain and Palin), yet the most he can do is sputter out something about the bridge.
It’s a joke that this is the guy; it’s not a joke a people actually believe any of this crap.
And where is your RECORD of change, Obama? Still waiting...
