I wouldn't be too sure of that -- we don't know if he was admitted because of diversity or he got in with his test scores. We don't know what courses he took or what grades he made. We do know as head of the Harvard Law Review, he wrote ONE article when most use that to write a lot of articles.
You know, the Harvard Law School class of 1991 must have produced a fair number of lawyers, many at top-ranked firms, academia, government, or business, who would have something to say about Obama’s reputation and performance there.
Yet I can’t recall hearing from any of them.
Why wouldn’t they take the opportunity to publicly praise him?
He was selected to be head of the HLR; he didn't make it on grades. And I'm not sure he wrote even one article.
We know that he graduated Magna Cum Laude, which is top 10% of his class and that Harvard Law School exams are graded anonymously (i.e. without hte student’s name on them...just an ID). Perhaps he had help....perhaps not.
He may be a Marxist, but he might be a decent legal scholar, or have had incredible mentoring along the way from Larry Tribe etal.
