Obama to Palin: 'Don't Mock the Constitution'

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- Sen. Barack Obama delivered an impassioned defense of the Constitution and the rights of terrorism suspects tonight, striking back at one of the biggest applause lines in Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's speech to the GOP convention.
It was in St. Paul last week that Palin drew raucous cheers when she delivered this put-down of Obama: "Al-Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America and he's worried that someone won't read them their rights."
Obama had a few problems with that.

Really? This is why Barack should never be allowed to speak without his speech being vetted first. This response is infantile and just makes him look reactionary; intimidated by the polling out today.
If he keeps doing this he'll undo all the progress the D-MSM is making in destroying Sarah with their exposes on Christians who read the Bible as opposed to using it to prop up an uneven table.

Obama mocked the US consitution by saying "they bitterly hold to their religion and guns" both guaranteed by the constitution amendments.

You’ve hit on the key point here. This is a face-off that Obama simply cannot win, even if he does (and he’s got his hands full trying). He’s going after the #2 person on the Pub ticket. The more time he wastes there the freer Mac is to play his own game. If Biden can’t neutralize Palin, and thus free up O, the Dems are doomed.
She’s not mocking the Constitution, Obama. She’s mocking you.
