A jury in the U.K. has found three men guilty of conspiracy to murder in the trans-Atlantic airline "liquid bomb" plot.
Abdulla Ahmed Ali, Assad Sarwar and Tanvir Hussain were found guilty of plotting to kill "persons unknown," but not necessarily on planes.

It seems almost impossible to make good arrests to prevent terrorism, and obtain a conviction on that point. Perhaps the prosecution didn’t make a good enough case on the issue of intent to involve an airliner in the plans.
What I found odd was that I heard on WOAI in San Antonio that one was found not guilty and the other three got a hung jury.
That’s right. Three guilty for the greater crime, one to a lesser crime, and three got a hung jury.
I haven’t been following this at all. The jury may be right. I don’t really know.
BTW, I may have been off base there. There may have been one person found not guilty. Take care.
3 out of 8 guilty. Plenty of them left to go out and finish their mission.
