Very good point Doug.
I can’t help but believe that the Sally Quinn’s of the country are letting their bitterness get the better of them.
After all, Gov. Palin does have it all...the beautiful family, the handsome mans- man of a husband and the successful career.
The Sally Quinn’s chose career over family. Must burn them to see a more capable woman who really does have it all.
Beautifully stated, Doug!
And don’t forget, Sally Quinn slept her way to where she is now. If she wants to start a fight, we will finish it.
Great Job! The cancer of America called Liberal/Socialism is dying! :)
Like my wife asks..."why don't they ever question Obama if he's putting HIS career ahead of his family?"
Quinn was on O’Reilly’s show retracting her earlier remarks and saying she was wrong. Did Laura mention that?
Oh, and you too Doug! :-)
How about Obama’s two kids with BOTH parents working
That was you?!!! Congrats and well said!
Laura has been absolutely giddy with the pick of Palin!
Heard you on the radio this AM Doug. But you forgot to tell Laura you thought Palin (and Laura) is hotter than a chicken pot pie.
Hey....I heard you this morning!!!! Well done and excelllent point. I appreciate Sarah’s family’s sacrifice on behalf of my children.
I don’t think she is sacrificing her family either. Her husband is taking care of the kids so only one parent is technically working full-time. That’s more time with one parent than most kids in this country have. My husband works full-time and I stay at home (I quit after having children) but he is a wonderful Dad and I am confident that things would be just fine on the home front if we ever needed to switch roles.
I was critical of Palin when I first heard the news. I still don’t know how they are going to handle everything. My own husband came to her defense and said that she was putting her country first. He then said the dad could handle the home.
I was thinking someone like Kay Baily Hutchison would have been a good VP pick, but after seeing Palin’s acceptance speech I think Palin is the woman we need right now. KBH is certainly capable, but she would not have generated any excitement, and she is a Washington insider.
I guess the good news is that Palin will have excellent access to doctors and therapists for Trig when she is in Washington, DC.
“Yes, Sarah’s family is going to be put second.”
I’m not so sure about that.
Todd Palin strikes me as someone who can fill-in on the parental front.
Sounds like Sally Quinn is a bitter old lesbian.
