POST ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN (The New York Post: "...we're in their corner to the finish.")

POST ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN

THAT'S THE TICKET: John McCain and Sarah Palin, here onstage at the Republican convention, offer the promise of sound economic, security and energy policies.

THE Post today enthusiastically urges the election of Sen. John S. McCain as the 44th president of the United States.

McCain's lifelong record of service to America, his battle-tested courage, unshakeable devotion to principle and clear grasp of the dangers and opportunities now facing the nation stand in dramatic contrast to the tissue-paper-thin résumé of his Democratic opponent, freshman Sen. Barack Obama.

McCain has been in Washington for many years now, but he is not of Washington. He knows where the levers of power are located - and how to manipulate them - but he is not controlled by them.

McCain's selection of the charming, but rock-solid, outsider Sarah Palin as his running mate underscores the point.

Neither plays well with others.

And this is an unalloyed asset at a time when special interests - lobbyists, lawyers and organized labor chief among them - wield enormous influence in the nation's capital.

McCain's Democratic opponents, Obama and Sen. Joseph Biden, lead a party constructed of special interests - public-employee unionists in particular.

Awesome

I need to paint today; I’ll be picking up the NY Post to read when going home, and I’ll pick up the NY Times to prevent the rug from getting ruined.

=)

Wait until some College Commies or some Code Pinkos try to throw a pie (or worse) on Governor Palin as they tried with Miss Coulter and so many other Conservatives, and the Secret Service bundles the miscreants off to a very, very dark hole in the ground....the video of it will eat up bandwidth on the internet for months and will cause the GOP coffers to swell dramatically :-)

From your mouth, to Allah's ear...

I’m pretty sure that the NYP endorsed Obama in the primaries. I read it daily. I didn’t bookmark the column but I’m pretty sure.

Also note that the New York Times is shutting down their home delivery system. Their lies and deceit are costing them dearly.

HURRAH! THE POST!

You may be correct, and i may have misread a sentence in today’s editorial. That’s what i get for posting before finishing my first cup of coffee.

And hopefully the Love will be returned to readers in the form of true journalistic professionalism;

It will be interesting to see if the Post starts investigating some of the Obama lies and some of his past associations.

THAT would make their endorsement worth something!

Well the NY Post is the pulse of New York. And I need my fix daily.
(I skip the gossip columns.)

“I gather you aren’t counting the endorsements from Hezbollah and the Communist Party for 0bama?”

Yesterday, Iran and Libya both endorsed Obama.

The Slimes is shutting down home delivery? I had not heard that.
And all that money poured into weekend delivery ads for nothing?

That would be huge.

I disagree on the primaries. They stood with the home state Senator as I recall.

"LOL, Stoat, if we were talking unofficial endorsements 75% of the newspapers would be endorsing the O."

I suspect that my local liberal rag, like others all across the country would love to endorse Obama, but they probaly aren't looking forward to contorting like a pretzel to justify the zee-roh-bama's non-existent list of accomplishments. Not to mention all his associations with the best scumbags this country has produced

I honestly think we are going to see some suicides in the Liberal Media as well.

Rumor is’

Afrer Sarah’s speech

Chris Matthews tried to kill himself, but then he felt a chill go down his leg. He spilled the kool aid.

Good. Let's hope more papers, left *and* right, follow suit!

I can't wait to see what twisted logic rationalizations NYT and the WAPost will use to endorse Obama.
